Buddy is a happy go lucky neutered male retriever mix with personality plus. He is a laid back fella, content to follow you around and check out what's going on. He likes treats, but not overly so, and seems most interested in being in the company of his humans.

Buddy has a nice coat - dark blond in color - and inquisitive brown eyes that follow you everywhere. Check out his downward facing dog yoga pose - what a sweetie he is! He's got a lot of traits that makes folks gravitate towards retrievers - sweet disposition, smart, low key, and loyal.

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.
