My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smitty is a larger shepherd lab mixed breed male who is all black with some white markings on his chest and he's about four years old now. We think that Smitty would do well as an only dog in a home, or paired with only another dog who is female. At the current time he is doing great with his female kennel mate. He is very friendly with people and has a boisterous personality at times, but is strong and will benefit from obedience training and leash work to help him be in control. Smitty does well with training and can be very focused for treats and praise. He is also affectionate ! He knows sit and will shake his paw, and can certainly learn more given consistent time and training trials. If you have another dog in your home and are considering Smitty as a companion, we suggest you have them meet to see how compatible they would be.
