My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are looking for that special home or person willing to adopt an exceptional pair of dogs. Tic is an older female chocolate lab who was surrendered to a local shelter along with her best friend Fango when the owners moved of state, not bringing their dogs with them. Both dogs are extremely friendly and well behaved. Tic is about 10 years old now, blind and Fango is her guide dog. Fango is a male German Shepherd and is about six years young. BARK looked into seeing if her vision could be corrected, but her retina is damaged and she has degenerative retina disease. She will never be able to see again and is in need of Fango, she'd be lost and grieve herself without him. Both dogs have always been together and are extremely bonded and so we would love to find them the home that could care for both of them, and keep them together. Tic loves water and splashing in the creeks here at BARK. These two dogs are fantastic, and although a bit older, you would get the companionship and calmness of two wonderful, loving and friendly dogs who truly need that special home.
