Zena is a sweetheart and a joy to own! She is a pretty, 6 yr old Shepherd/Lab mix that would make a wonderful addition to just about any family because she is so loveable and low maintenance. She is at that wonderful age where she is still fun and playful yet spends most of her time lounging around. A nice walk, comfy couch and lots of kisses is all this girl needs to be happy. She is so easy!
Zeenie Beanie (one of her many nicknames) is a laid-back girl that LIVES TO LOVE! It will melt your heart the way she looks at you so lovingly and will come over just to give you kisses. She was surrendered by her owner due to financial hardship and foreclosure. This is the second time this has happened to poor Zena...but she is still hopeful that her forever home is out there. Her tail is wagging all the time...she is such a happy girl.
Zena loves car rides and enjoys daily walks, is good on a leash and an extra bonus....she never poops on her walks (its so great!) Zena is a character and will keep you laughing when she does her "twirly-birds" where she will go round and round in a circle. Check out her video!
Zena is well-behaved, housebroken and very obedient. She loves kids and is great with cats too! Zena enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a home with a doggie brother or sister to play with. Zena needs a home with a fenced yard. NOTE: We prefer homes who want to go to an obedience class. Training strengthens the bond and trust that you have with your dog, and it's fun, for both of you! Dogs like to think and to be mentally challenged. Contrary to what many people think, they don't want to be couch potatoes. The training you do together will be an investment in the future.
Please note: You must be at least 28 years old to adopt a dog from us - unless you are able to demonstrate a mature lifestyle. We are not able to adopt to renters, sorry!
