My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet little Helen! She came to us in the fall of 2013 as a tiny orphaned kitten who was found in a pile of leaves. After being fed with an eye dropper and receiving lots of TLC, Helen grew stronger and healthier and began to learn all the great things that every kitten should know. She is now recovered, and now needs help to complete the next chapter of her life, by finding her forever home.

Helen is good with everybody and gets along great with dogs, kids and other cats. Actually, her best friend is a cat named Lacey, who is also available for adoption, so if you are looking for a duo, Lacey and Helen are your gals! Check Lacey out too.

As for Helen, she is a lovergirl and will turn herself inside-out for pets and scratches. She is our lovebug. Helen also has a wild imagination. She loves to play and can turn most anything into a toy. She runs about the house care free and silly, but at night loves to settle at the foot of your bed. She is fun loving and care free (as far as cats go). She even knows her name and comes when called. So if a playful, outgoing, sweet, smart kitty is for you, then Helen is perfect. Give Helen a chance to be your new best friend. You'll be so glad you did! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, microchip, 60 days of free pet insurance and spay/neuter.

  • Paws For Life Rescue

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
