Lacey's Story...
Hello, my name is Lacey! I'm a super sweet, gentle cat with a heart of gold. I'm a big girl with a soft-natured, quiet personality. My brother Conrad and I were adopted from the rescue together in 2009. We were just 11 weeks old and we had a great life. Then our human parents got divorced and dumped us both back in the Rescue. Conrad has since been adopted again, but I'm still looking for someone to love. I am 100% litterbox trained and very well behaved. I have a calm, mellow personality and I get along well with all people and other cats. I have a soft purr and a kind heart. I am a spayed female with short-length black and white fur. I'm really soft and very clean. I like to be petted and scratched, loved and cuddled. I just hope to find someone to love for life. Give me a chance and you'll be so very glad that you did! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Paws For Life Rescue

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

About Paws for Life Rescue and Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Paws for Life Rescue and Adoption is a 501c3 non-profit animal welfare organization, run by hard-working dedicated volunteers who rescue homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We use a network of loving foster care homes where animals stay until their forever homes find them.

Our mission is to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We believe in matching animals and families to find the right fit for everyone. We promise to exhaust all efforts to place adoptable pets in lifelong, loving homes. Our goal is to find the best home possible for the homeless pets in our care.

We host adoption events the third Saturday of every month from noon to 4 p.m. at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills.
