Story
Hello, darlings. I'm Empanada. Born around 3/15/2024, I'm only just starting out my journey to a career filled with adoration from doting fans. Unlike a typical kitten, I carry an unmatched level of grace wherever I trot to. Whether it's to my bowl of freshly served wet food or tackling an enticing toy, you can be sure that my presence is a reason to stop and stare. After all, as a Siamese it's what we're destined to do. With other felines, we always have a grand time. Your heart will grow twofold at the sight of me snuggling up with another cat. 'Bad days at work' are simply nonexistent when you arrive home to the cutest, most laughable cat-WWE wrestling match you'll ever see. In my foster home, I bring about a sense of "coolness" that most dorky kittens cannot compete with. While other babies dart head first into something new, I take a wise moment to ponder what is in front of me. I will one day grow up to be a regal, beloved princess. Until then, I will continue to thrive and learn about the world around me, so I can one day find a home in a majestic castle. Or suburban home. Or, frankly, a studio apartment would do, too. Story
Marie was pretty fierce with us at first. But while Mallory is still skittish but submissive, Marie just needed time to settle in. She still doesn't like being held (she actually bit me pretty good that first week because I picked her up - we had a strict hands off Marie policy after that), but I've been testing the waters there and she's comfortable being held for a bit now. Aside from that, she's become a real part of our family. She's on our bed 90% of the day and sleeps with us every night. She asks for pets as soon as we wake up. She's also vocal, but it's almost always around wanting affection - she loves head scratches and is comfortable approaching everyone to get them. And she gives little kisses, too! She doesn't do much around the house, but she gets curious and comes out when she hears the dogs in the backyard. She's definitely still bossy around the kids (vocal in telling them how she wants to be pet, which I appreciate), she seems really happy with us. She's a funny, sweet, and easy cat to have around.
