Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Story
SIMONE was abandoned, pregnant and showing signs of abuse when she appeared on a neighbor’s deck looking for food. Taken inside, she was terrified of everything. Then she was diagnosed with Stomatitis: painful swelling and sores in the mouth. She’s had a few teeth pulled and has had smelly flare-ups periodically. When her breath turns bad, a steroid shot at the vet takes care of it. This will likely need to be done around four times yearly. Simone needs a quiet home with no children. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming.
