She is one that will need someone who will give her a long warm-up period as she is scared at first but then becomes your friend. You have to play hard to get with her in the beginning but you will soon be best friends. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost will be split amongst adopters. Austin Adoption ONLY: Duchess is a sweet kitty. Once she settles in, she will greet you at her perch near the door with a charming chirp asking for attention. If you sit comfortably, she loves to climb into your lap to be brushed or take a nap. Her other favorite spot is inside any cardboard box. She likes to play, especially with interactive toys like wand toys. She takes time to adapt to change, but once she’s comfortable, she will bring joy and life to the home. Like with any tortie or tortie point Siamese, she has strong opinions. She gets along great with calm adult cats, not rowdy kittens. She is not a fan of being picked up, but she loves to climb into your lap for affection and cuddles. She was surrendered with Ariel. They are not bonded, but they get along well if you are looking for two cats. Kitties over 16 weeks have transport available to most of the United States.
