Balinese kittens & cats in Stephenville, Texas

Sophie (previously Valentine) was adopted out from us and returned after she got too riled up after being pet too much. She was slowly starting to open up at the shelter before she got adopted and now is doing better after being out of here. She tends to let some people hold her, but if she does not get let go when uncomfortable she will start biting. She loves to be pet on the head, but when she is done with getting attention she will bat at whoever is petting her. She loves to talk, but is mainly just talking to talk as she doesn't want pets when she is being vocal. Her previous adopters said she was very wary of new people and would take time to warm up to them. She was previously feral so she would do best in a home that gives her respective space and doesn't try to force her into situations she doesn't want to be in, such as being held. Sophie is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, and microchipped. All adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public for any reason. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.
