Story
Mojito is all sugar! I began fostering him since a Thanksgiving 2023 family trip to the beach in Mexico. The shelter in Mexico mistakenly thought he was deaf and partially blind, but that was just because he had never been socialized in a home. In the four months I have rehabbed him, his hearing has "miraculously" been restored since he knows the sounds of the garage door opening and the crackling of a bag of dog treats. :) He is the sweetest, most docile, and passive; he will be the beta to any existing alpha in the house. He is great with my five-year-old son and all young children, is a tender playmate to our two cats, and is eager to make dog friends once he understands that the new dogs are kind too (he hesitates at first with new dogs but then always warms up quickly). He is house-trained, comes when called, is crate-trained, and rides in the car easily. I hike with him on South Mountain at least once per week. He needs sensitive-stomach formula dog food. Overall, he is a lovely.

Loki is a beautiful boy who was rescued from Pima Animal Care Center in 2021. His current family states that he is a very intelligent dog. He picks up commands quickly and knows: sit, shake, lay down, roll over, up and has great recall. He is house trained, crate trained and muzzle trained. He walks great on a leash and does not destroy indoor or outdoor items. Loki has a bite history documented with Pima County. His bite history comes from reactions when in a fearful situation where he feels threatened or feels the need to protect those around him. He has never had an incident in his current family which includes a 13 month old child. However, a recent behavioral assessment deemed it would be best to find Loki a home without small children. Loki is affectionate, likes to play and eager to please. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a new addition to their family. Please meet Loki today! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Story
Aurora was one of seven, 7-month old puppies that were found abandoned on the streets in horrible condition. They were picked up by animal control and taken to the local shelter. Soon after arrival, they found themselves scheduled for euthanasia due to all of them having sarcoptic mange — a highly contagious skin infection transferable to both humans and dogs, yet treatable with medications and time. We knew these seven wondrous souls deserved a chance at life and needed our help to heal. After being saved from euthanasia, these Seven Wonders pups were kept in isolation at Heidi’s Village, where they received the intensive medical treatments they desperately needed. After two months, our young puppies are now fully recovered and ready to experience a life full of love and joy. Aurora is just one of the Seven Wonders looking for families who will be patient and help them learn what having a home really means, including everything from a sense of safety to the warmth of a loving embrace. We know that happy endings are just around the corner for Aurora! Each puppy’s adoption fee includes his/her completed veterinary exams, completed medical treatments, vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Story
HELLOOO new family! I am so excited to meet you! I'm gonna have you giggling nonstop because I'm so happy and goofy. I was born without the piece of my brain that helps me balance (*cerebellar hypoplasia), so I wiggle all over the place. Basically I just love to dance funky all the time! I'm probably gonna be famous soon, so you should adopt me before the pup-parazzi finds me and the whole world wants in on this cuteness. And don't worry, I'm not going to get any worse--I just need you to love me as I am: crazy dancer but always happy to see you. Bonus? I'm already kennel & potty trained. Just because I'm goofy doesn't mean I don't know how to behave! Contact Mayday if you'd like to meet me and I promise to show you all my moves! Ali might be good with older children and would do best in a home without other dogs. *Cerebellar hypoplasia is a permanent neurological condition that causes permanent balance and coordination issues. Cerebellar hypoplasia causes jerky movements, tremors and generally uncoordinated motion. The animal often falls down and has trouble walking. To manage this condition for your pet, it is vital that you understand your pet's physical limitations. As your pet may have difficulty controlling movement, you may need to assist your pet when eating and drinking. Providing your pet with a safe environment is essential. Due to the imbalance and wide stance, stairs and uneven ground may cause a hazard. A non-slip, flat surface, such as carpeting, is an ideal environment for your pet.* If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please visit our site at www.maydaypitbullrescue.org or send us an email at info@maydaypitbullrescue.org ##654651##
