Hello- my name is Jenni! I was rescued with several other dogs from a property where our owner was no longer physically able to care for us. Thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us and provided the general and medical care we needed to be ready for forever homes! While I am still a little shy at first, I warm up very quickly once I know you- especially if you have some good treats! I am estimated at almost a year old as of mid May and look like my mix could include some basengi and/or chiweenie in a larger package. I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too. Due to my background before being rescued, I am looking for someone who will understand my shyness and be patient while I gain more confidence. I would love it if we could take some classes together so I can learn how to be the best dog possible!My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, microchip and deworming. Hi my name is Lady - I'm a very sweet and adorable girl estimated at around 2 years old and last weighing in at around 30 lbs. I landed at the county shelter with my very young puppies. It was a very scary time as we all caught an upper respiratory infection and needed to get to the ER fast for medical attention. Thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue answered the urgent plea to help my little family, rushed us to the ER and I and my 3 surviving puppies were saved! We are all healthy and happy and ready for our forever homes now! My breed is a bit of a mystery - I could have some Carolina dog and/or Basenji in me best guess. Hi- my name is Jetania! I came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue from another rescue that was overcrowded and needed help. I am estimated at 1.5 years old as of end of March and weigh about 30lbs. I look like a Carolina dog, maybe mixed with Basengi- rescue’s best guess. I walk great on leash and even know some of my basic commands. I am looking for a fairly active family where we can go on lots of walks and adventures. I tend to get along with other dogs; but, please, let’s do a proper meet and greet first!
