If you're looking for a calm laid back guy, I'm the one for you. oh, I'm not lazy I love to get out and play and run and be a goofball, but I can also settle in next to my people and just be a couch tater. what i want most is to be by my people. I am potty and crate trained, but I really don't need a crate. I would love to have some kiddos to play with or another calm dog. but I'm not real fond of kitty cats. I came from a shelter where I was on the euthanasia list, but I got a second chance when I was transferred here. I’m really grateful to be safe now, and I’m ready to find a home of my own. I’m a Basenji mix and, if I may say so, a very sweet girl. I’ve really come out of my shell and now greet people with lots of tail wags right away! I get along well with other dogs and have done great with everyone I’ve met. I’m a spunky, playful girl who loves attention and interaction. I can get a little bouncy when I’m excited—I may jump and do some playful “love nips,” which is just my way of having fun and showing affection. Because of this, I’d do best with older, considerate kids who understand dog behavior and can help me keep learning good manners. I still have a gentle side and would do well in many different homes. I just need someone kind who will continue to guide me and give me the love I’ve been waiting for. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, 4dx test negative, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped—so I’m all ready to head home whenever you are. My adoption fee is $400. If you think we might be a good match, you can apply for me at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. Also her ears are like satellite dishes so she can hear you open a door a mile away. If she sense your tired or upset will want to keep you company.

Tell me..... have you ever found yourself lost, hurt and starving??? I mean, it happens to the best of us right? Yes, it happened to me!! :( It was really scary! I was hiding behind a "fireworks" sign on the access road, big TRUCKS on my right side and the railroad tracks on my left! It was "ruff" but not so much anymore ;) I mean, this chick showed up with FOOD and a CAR and a LEASH and COMPASSION..... and she SAAAAVVVEEDDDD ME!! NOW, I have food every day, clean water, protection from the traffic and the weather and LOTS of friends!! I am living the rescue life....pretty soon the rescue peeps told me i will be living the ADOPTED LIFE :) I am a ruggedly handsome boy with an incurable positivity! I am POSITIVE you will see me and LOVE Me and ADOPT ME! So GET BUSY!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
