Born: November 14, 2024 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Luna Mae! âï¸ Luna Mae is a happy, affectionate young girl who is ready to find her forever family once again. At just over a year old, this beautiful Lab/Basenji mix has all the fun, playful energy of a young dog while already having great manners in the home. Luna Mae absolutely loves being with her people and would happily choose quality time over just about anything. Her previous family described her as a girl who wants to be by your side 24/7 and isn’t shy about asking for attention — she’ll even gently push on you with her paws when she wants some extra love! She’s house trained and will bark at the door to let you know she needs to go outside. She rides wonderfully in the car, does well for vet visits, brushing, and nail trims, and enjoys getting out for walks. She also knows a couple tricks including sit and give paw. Luna Mae loves playing with other dogs and enjoys trips to the dog park where she gets to socialize and have fun. On walks, rabbits can be a little extra exciting for her — she’s always curious about what’s hopping by! One of her favorite games? A good chase around the house followed by plenty of attention and cuddles. Luna Mae is looking for a family that wants a loyal companion, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend who will be right there with them through every part of the day. If you’ve been searching for a sweet shadow with a playful side, Luna Mae may be your perfect match â¤ï¸ All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
