This sweet boy is dog-friendly and loves to get his energy out with a good run, but he’s just as happy to relax and chill afterward. Rooster is having a tough time with the noisy shelter environment—he may lunge at his kennel door, but it’s just stress, and he quickly softens once he’s with you.Rooster would thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can feel safe and cared for. He’s happy to have doggy friends but wouldn’t mind being an only child either. On leash, Rooster shines—he walks politely and calmly by your side.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a gentle place to land, Rooster may be the one for you.

Murphy came to us as a stray. We're not sure how someone could be missing a dog like him! Murph is a sweetheart who is friendly once he gets to know you (kids are unknown at the moment), and has shown us that he can get along with female dogs (further testing with male dogs). Murph walks great on leash, appears to like truck rides, does awesome for baths, and keeps a fairly clean kennel. He isn't picky about his food, though he is a treat snob. Murph is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick/heart worm preventions.
