Story
Quarantine Up 9/20,2026 Meet Dolly! Dolly is one of the sweetest little souls you will ever meet. Weighing between 15 and 16 pounds, about 2 yrs old and she came to us from deep South Texas after being found wandering the streets. She had no microchip, collar, or identification and had not been spayed…an all-too-familiar story in that area. Dolly is very submissive, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is incredibly friendly with people. More than anything, she simply loves to be held and loved on. She is heartworm positive and will complete treatment before adoption. We are currently waiting for her Chagas test results, so please keep an eye on our website for updates. If you’re looking for a loving little companion you can take almost anywhere…one who adores people, enjoys other dogs, and has a wonderful temperament…Dolly is just about as perfect as they come. Be sure to watch her video! If you need any additional information about Dolly, once you have an approved application, we are always happy to help. ❤️If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Whether you're adopting from us or anywhere in the southern states, please familiarize yourself with Chagas disease. It's endemic in the south. Story
Hudson is ready to sniff out his next big adventure! With a coat made for patting and an infectious enthusiasm for life, this curious, clever little man can turn everyday moments into magical ones. Hudson is remarkably smart, listens carefully to what he is told, and learns quickly. He’s already both doggy door trained and crate trained! He is also very, very energetic and would love an active human companion to share all his adventures with. Thanks to his great manners, he would fit in wonderfully as an apartment dog. He loves all animals big and small, gets along with absolutely everyone, and spends his days tracking down lost squeaky toys, demonstrating epic puppy pounces, and keeping a watchful eye on all the household action. Once his energy tank hits empty, Hudson loves nothing more than melting into a warm pile of blankets for a well-deserved power nap. Hudson is a true gem of a puppy who is guaranteed to bring endless smiles, cuddles, and love! Apply to meet him today! Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Buffy is a beautiful girl who is new to WAG and still settling into her new routine. She’s sweet and a little timid right now, but she warms up quickly to people and walks nicely on a leash. We think Buffy may be a Basenji mix. Buffy is a great medium size and at a wonderful age for adventures with an active family. While it may take a little time for her true personality to shine, we have a feeling she’ll be worth the wait. Whether she’s exploring the great outdoors, going for walks, or simply enjoying time with her people, Buffy has the potential to make the most of every day. We’re still getting to know this sweet girl and will share more as we discover what makes Buffy special. For now, we know she has a lot of promise—and we can’t wait to see her blossom. To meet Buffy, head to wimberleywagrescue.org to fill out an application. There’s no obligation to adopt when you submit an application.
