Collins is a little gentleman with a heart of gold, a delightfully quirky personality, the cutest gray face, and ears that are very good at standing at attention. This sweet guy is basically a walking collection of adorable facial expressions. He’s outgoing, affectionate, and genuinely happy to meet people. Collins is small-to-medium sized, walks beautifully on leash, and still has plenty of pep in his step despite being a distinguished 8-year old. He loves getting out for a walk and exploring, although he’s also perfectly happy to take things at a comfortable pace. He knows sit and is VERY treat motivated, so he’s eager to participate when snacks are involved. He also hops right into the car like a seasoned traveler. Once the car is moving, though, he seems to have a little car anxiety, so he may do best with some patience and encouragement while he gets used to riding. He spent a day out in an office setting and greeted everyone he encountered with a friendly attitude and was always ready for some pets. Collins showed some active nervous energy at first, but once he settled in, his sweet, and affectionate personality really shined. He was also friendly and non-reactive toward the other dogs he passed on walks, though as always, any potential dog siblings should get a proper meet-and-greet. Collins is the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. He has a little bit of nervous energy, a whole lot of sweetness, and just enough quirky charm to keep life interesting. His gray face may say “distinguished older gentleman,” but his personality says, “Okay, but are we going for a WALK and do you have TREATS?” If you’re looking for a loving companion with big ears, an even bigger heart, and a wonderfully goofy personality, Collins would love to meet you
