Hi, I'm Pirate! My days are filled with dreams of soft beds and cozy couches. I love playing fetch and showing off my loyal, friendly nature. I'm always up for a game or a snuggle session. Adopting me means endless love, playful days, and loyal companionship. Let's start our adventure together! Adoption Process If you are ready to meet the pet, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10666/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about her likes, dislikes, and little quirks.  The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the pet home as your furry forever friend, the adoption fee is $150. ##2637383##

Ulsans personality is every bit as unique as his striking good looks. Hes a bit cat-like in his independence but also looks to his trusted person for reassurance. Ulsan has had quite the life. As a puppy he was rescued from a South Korean dog meat market and brought to our shelter to start a new life.<br/><br/>Ulsan will require a dog-savvy owner who can provide Ulsan with the confidence&#44 routine&#44 and guidance he needs to adapt to his home. Foster homes have reported he is house-trained and not at all destructive in the home. He is looking for a home where he is the only pet and there are no children. If you are interested in meeting Ulsan&#44 please call or visit our adoption center today to arrange a meeting!<br/><br/>As part of our Patient Paws special&#44 Ulsans adoption fee will be waived.
