Story
Louie came to us with his sister, Thelma. They are somewhat of a bonded pair, but he would do fine if adopted alone. Louie is gentle, loving, and craves human attention.  He loves belly rubs and to be in your lap.  He has a go-with-the-flow energy and loves everybody. He does well with other dogs and kids. He can be shy at first, but that fades quickly. And did you see his short little legs? Just adorable! Louie is not house trained, but we are working on that too. This sweet little dude will make a great pet for any dog lover. Hi there! I’m Sterling! It's been a rough month but my dad told me it's best for me to find a family that can love me as much as he did. He is going through a really hard time and had to move out of state. What makes it easier is that my foster mom and dad have some of the same friends as my old dad so my dad is trying to make the transition as good as possible for me! So, with all of that said, I spent my first 3.5 years with the best dad ever who spoiled me, so you can say I come pre-spoiled for your convenience! I’m turning 4 in July 2026. I love other dogs and I am so excited that my foster mom and dad take me and my canine foster siblings to doggie day care and wow is it fun! I earned LOTS of awards and honorable mentions on my first day of doggie day care! I am sort of a hit with my turned-out front feet and low-riding profile, I've got a bit of flair. And my cartoonish ears are always perked up so I draw lots of attention because I am ridiculously cute! My foster mom and dad say that I am a "champion blanket burrower." I take my time getting cozy on the couch, but once I'm all snuggled in, I’m in my happy place. Oh, and I absolutely love my Kong toys! They’re perfect for chewing and for discovering yummy treats. At night, I have my own little ritual. I am super particular about arranging my bedding. I make my foster mom and dad laugh because they say I make really funny noises as I settle in for bed. Let's just say I am unique and it’s all part of my charm! I hope that you will ask to meet me!

Oreo ( female ) Oreo walks great on leash, no hesitations, just ready to go! She is VERY people friendly, and has so much love to share! She loves playing, with her pups, and with toys, and she loves to adventure! The more she can see and smell, the happier she is! She did really good about sitting or standing still for her pictures, it didnt take her long at all! She was a little curious about Karen the cat when she ( Karen ) ran past, but she didn't jump or chase after her. She walked behind, sniffed a second, then came back to me! She is very sweet, and let's be honest, you've got to have patience to put up with being dressed like a doll !
