Story
🐾 Meet Bruno – A Resilient Senior Looking for His Soft Place to Land 🐾 Bruno is a sweet senior boy with a heartbreaking past and a hopeful future 💔➡️💗 He was found living on a dumped mattress in the middle of nowhere, where he was attacked by coyotes while trying to survive. Thanks to a kind finder who refused to let him be euthanized at the shelter, Bruno was given a second chance 🙏 He’s about 8 years old and weighs 26 pounds. Since coming into care, Bruno has: ✔️ Healed from an old ear hematoma ✔️ Fully recovered from a painful ear infection ✔️ Been recently neutered ✔️ Shown us just how loving and resilient he truly is Despite everything he’s endured, Bruno is a happy, affectionate dog with medium energy for his age. He enjoys short walks, exploring his surroundings, and then settling in for cozy naps 🐶💤 He’s not hyper, but he’s not a couch potato either — a perfect balance for someone looking for a calm companion who still enjoys being engaged. Bruno LOVES affection, smiles often, and especially enjoys butt and head scratches 🥹💗 His joyful personality shines through every single day. 🦴 The Honest Stuff (because the right match matters): Bruno will do best in a calm, low-stress home that allows him time to decompress. He is a senior, but one with so much love and companionship to give. 🏡 What Bruno Needs: • A foster or forever home willing to give him patience and stability • A soft, safe environment where he will never be abandoned again • Someone who understands that senior dogs thrive with routine and kindness Bruno didn’t choose the life he survived — but he’s choosing trust again 🥹 If you can offer him a safe place to land and love him through his golden years, Bruno will reward you with quiet loyalty and endless gratitude 💗🐾 🙏 Please consider fostering, adopting, or sharing Bruno’s story 🎥 https://youtube.com/shorts/s7p74jx8MpQ?si=-6N4FTy7SdKebquc

Story
🐾 Meet Harvey — A Forgotten Soul Who Just Wants Peace 🐾 ⚠️ EXPERIENCED ADOPTER WITH FERAL DOGS NEEDED ⚠️ Harvey is a senior boy who has lived a life most will never understand 💔 We rescued Harvey on January 9, 2024 after he had been surviving at a local park near the zoo, surrounded by heavy homeless traffic. We had been working that area for weeks before we were finally able to safely trap him. When we got him, he was suffering from an infection in his testicles and had clearly been on his own for a long time. --- 🩷 Harvey Today: Harvey is still completely terrified of the world. He keeps to himself and asks for nothing. • Quiet • Observant • Independent • Doesn’t demand attention He is not aggressive — just deeply shut down and unsure. --- 💔 The Reality: Harvey is a true feral case. He doesn’t understand affection yet. He doesn’t seek out human interaction. But… he also doesn’t want anything bad. He just wants a safe place to exist. And honestly… that’s all he’s ever needed. --- 🏡 What Harvey Needs: • An experienced adopter or foster with feral dogs • A calm, low-traffic environment • Patience, space, and zero expectations • Someone who understands that trust may take a very long time — or may look different for him Another calm dog may help, but the most important thing is stability and safety. --- 🩷 Our Hope for Harvey: We truly believe that with time, space, and consistency… he may begin to trust. Even the smallest steps would be a huge win for a dog like him. But even if he never becomes “social”… he still deserves a place where he is safe, fed, and never has to survive alone again 💔🐾 --- Harvey doesn’t need much. Just a quiet place to finally rest. 🙏 Please consider fostering, adopting, or sharing his story to help him find that place

Story
⚠️ EXPERIENCED ADOPTER NEEDED ⚠️ 💔 Meet Max — 12 Years Old, Deserves a Second Chance 📅 August 21, 2024 — Max was surrendered to us after a life with little to no socialization. His owner moved to the East Coast… and never came back for him. Max came in with a lot of confusion and fear, along with trigger-based behaviors and reactivity in certain situations — especially around new people and other dogs inside the home. For safety, we had to move him to an outdoor kennel setup. 💔 But that is not the life he deserves. 🐾 Who Max Is Max is a 12-year-old boy who has had to learn everything later in life. Despite his past, he has made progress. ✔️ Bonds deeply once he trusts ✔️ Loved “his boy” ✔️ Initially struggled with men — but learned to trust and love my husband ✔️ With structure and training, he shows he can be a good dog He is not beyond help — he just needed someone to teach him. 🏡 What Max Needs Max will need an experienced adopter only — someone who understands behavior, boundaries, and how to safely continue building his trust. ✔️ Calm, structured environment ✔️ Slow introductions ✔️ No chaos or inexperienced handling ✔️ Someone willing to give him time, not give up on him 💔 Why He’s Still Here Max didn’t get the guidance he needed when he was younger… and now he’s paying the price for it. He’s a senior. He shouldn’t be spending the rest of his life in a kennel. 🩷 We are hoping for a foster or forever home that will give Max the chance he never had. 📩 Message us if you have experience and are willing to help change Max’s life.
