Story
Bleu was adopted in 2020. He has never been potty trained and spends the majority of his time outside. Bleu is kenneled at night. Typical schedule is he is let out between 5:30-7:30am, depending on the day. About 30mins later he is fed. He is fed just under a cup of Kirkland Signature Lamb, Rice & Vegetable formula dry dog food. After eating, he is back outside for the day, until we feed him again around the 6-7pm hour, same amount of dog food as in the morning. During times of cold and snow, he is brought into the kennel and let out about every 3 to 4 hours. Bleu is a happy dog that loves affection. Bleu is the dog that will alert you to anything and anyone near the property. Bleu would be best to not live in the city because his breed type barks all the time. He has had all his shots up until 2022. Please let me know if you have any questions. We will include his kennel, harness, and leash in the adoption.

Story
*Can be the only dog (but loves other dogs!)Star, a petite 26-pound bundle of joy, exudes sweetness and curiosity in every wag of her tail. From eagerly awaiting breakfast by the door to her playful dances upon the couch, she fills each moment with infectious enthusiasm. While not yet a cuddler, she's an ever-present companion, following you with eager eyes from room to room. In the backyard, she's a whirlwind of joy, reveling in the simple pleasures of racing around and exploring. Despite her past challenges, Star's resilience shines through, and with patience and understanding, she's ready to blossom into the perfect furry friend in a peaceful and loving home. If you are interested in Star, please apply at nmdr.org.------------------------------------------------------Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. Because some of our dogs are very under socialized, they may not be a good fit for young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Some of our more fearful dogs will do best in a home with another dog and a securely fenced yard. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, many of these dogs come around with patience and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
