Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bob Scratchit: Your Goofy, Loving Basset Hound Mix Bob Scratchit, a 2-year-old basset hound mix weighing 50 pounds, arrived at The London Sanctuary from Bradford County animal control. Bob is a big ol' puppy at heart, and his goofy personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. In his foster home, Bob is a bundle of joy. He adores his toys, especially interactive plush hide & seek toys that challenge his curious mind. When it's time to settle down, Bob happily retreats to his soft crate, where he dreams of new adventures. Although he protests going into the crate during the day with adorable hound-like bays, he eventually settles down and enjoys his cozy space. Bob is a very curious boy, full of wonder and excitement. It's important to ensure he's in a safe space like his crate or a secure room when left alone to prevent any mischief. He doesn't have any aggression issues and is already housebroken. However, Bob is still learning obedience and manners; he loves to jump onto surfaces and explore everything within his reach. Walking on a leash is enjoyable for him, although he could use some guidance in leash manners during walks. Bob is good with other dogs but may not always understand when playtime is over for his playmates. He hasn't met any cats yet, and he's good with kids due to his passive and sweet nature. If you're looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Bob Scratchit is your guy. His ears even double as his own personal eye mask when he sleeps, adding to his unique charm! Bob is heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $300, and The London Sanctuary requires home visits to ensure the best match. Contact them at foster@thelondonsanctuary.com or find them on Facebook or Instagram to meet Bob and bring some fun chaos into your home!
