Sweet Nugget might be one of the most unusual short stacks we've ever had. We think he is mixed with Basset Hound and Catahoula, but who really knows. He loves to romp in the play yard and really wants all the head scratches you can give.Nugget is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.

Meet Liverwurst! As much as his name makes him sound a little sour and stinky, he’s quite the opposite. This short stack of a Heinz 57 dog is ready for his 10 minutes of playtime, followed by 23 hours and 50 minutes of snoozing and snuggles. Liverwurst loves other dogs, is super gentle, and will plant himself in your heart in 2.5 seconds. He is house and crate trained. He would do best in a more chill home (he’s all about those vibes), and would be great as a solo dog or joining a pack. Bring home this lover boy!
