** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Oscar is about 4 yrs old weighing about 18lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. FROM HIS FOSTER: He is the sweetest easiest boy and, with some love and gentleness, he will win your heart over immediately. He is very quiet and not a barker. He is completely housebroken and loves his meals and naps. He loves (and behaves well) on leash walks. Squeaky toys and belly rubs make him so happy! Shy at first, Oscar responds quickly to love and affection. He is an A+ pup! A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Oscar, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Oscar into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Story
Rambler is a nice young 2 yr old male. He is shy/skittish. This is for a good reason. Poor Rambler had his back foot caught in a trap. His foot was badly mangled when he came into rescue. We do not know if he tore his foot from the trap or what, but he had so much damage of bone and tissue that he had half of his foot removed. Surprisingly, this has not affected his physical movements. He sometimes holds that foot up but mostly he uses it and runs on it. Rambler is fairly calm for a young guy. He does like to track occasionally when he catches a scent and will bark/bay as he goes but it is not constant. Because dogs are his comfort, he should be adopted to a home with other dogs. He does seem to prefer men over woman. He is still learning to trust people and will not cuddle at this point. He is a lovely gentleman Adoption fee is $400 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. Story
Tuck is a sweet approximate 4-6 yr old male beagle. He had a family and lived in a home. The husband ended up with dementia and started being mean to Tuck and beating on him. The wife loved Tuck but felt it was safer to surrender him to a rescue. Tuck seems to be a pretty happy guy.  Adoption fee is $350 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue.
