Story
Gold is a very sweet and loving girl and loves attention from people. She had FHO surgery on her leg. She is not that long post op, so she might limp a bit here and there, but it is healed. She came to us through our rescue partners in the south where she was found with an injury. We believe her age is between 2-4 yrs of age. Gold is playful and loves to play with other dogs and dog toys. She will require another dog in the home. She walks well on leash with a harness as she is strong. Gold still gets excited and tends to dart for the door, so we highly suggest dog gates at the doors of the home. Gold has only jumped on the couch a few times and has not been around stairs so we are still unsure if she will do well with a 2-story home. She has not been cat tested or dog door tested. We have noted she has slight separation anxiety, therefore she will need a family that is home more, although she does well in a crate for a few hours. Adoption fee is $300 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.
