All AHHS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate). Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions. Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!   Lil'y is the sweetest ultimate cuddle bug and snuggle bunny who loves to give kisses. She is a velcro dog and loves to be with her person. Although Lil'y did not live with any young children, she has spent time with one and was really gentle. She would be an amazing sister to other dogs who are smaller than she is or the same size. She exhibits fear with larger dogs. As a dog who wants to be with her person, she does not like to be alone. Lil'y loves to spend time outdoors, but she does not like to be in the rain. Lil'y listens really well and loves to be rewarded with praise and attention.   This is a Courtesy Listing only.  Postings are provided as a courtesy by AHHS to guardians re-homing their pets. The descriptions and photographs of this animal are provided by the animal’s guardian; the animal has not been evaluated by AHHS and is not an AHHS animal. Adoption processes and fees are at the sole discretion of the pet’s guardian. AHHS makes no claims as to the health or temperament of these pets and cannot be held liable for any outcomes or damages resulting from adoption. May 9, 2024, 11:39 am

Anderson joined the AHHS under unexpected circumstances. He was brought in by an individual stating that he had been dumped on their property. We aren't quite sure why anyone would dump such a wonderful dog. Anderson, Andy for short, is truly a charmer. He has won us all over in such a short time. His personality is fantastic, and he just loves attention. He is dog friendly and would do fine in a home with children! Anderson deserves a life of comfort and love given his unfortunate past.
