BLEU**9 YEAR OLD MALE BEAGLE MIX**45 POUNDS**COURTESY LISTING** Bleu is currently residing in the VA Beach area. If you are interested in Bleu, please contact Alexandra at alxbryant96@gmail.com or (757) 617-1611. From his current owner: -Name: Bleu -Male (neutered) -9y old Beagle Mix -45lbs -Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, has joint and hip issues from a prior injury -Story: 🚨 Urgent Rehoming – Bleu Needs a Loving Home ASAP 🐾 Bleu is in immediate need of a new home due to circumstances that no longer allow me to provide the time, attention, and environment he truly deserves. My priority is finding him a safe, stable, and loving home as soon as possible. Bleu came into my care about two years ago when a former friend was unable to keep him and never returned for him. Since then, I’ve made sure he has been safe and cared for, but I am no longer able to meet his needs long-term. About Bleu: • Great with children, dogs, and cats • Loves all people—very friendly and social • Playful, affectionate, and full of love • Enjoys trail walks and being outdoors • Would thrive in a quieter setting • Needs a home with a large yard where he can run and play Bleu is a wonderful dog who truly deserves a home where he can get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. This is not an easy decision, but it’s what’s best for him. -Pros/Cons: Bleu’s Pros 🐾 • Extremely sweet, loving, and affectionate • Loves to cuddle and be close to his people • Playful and fun, but can also be very gentle • Great with children, cats, and other dogs • Very friendly—loves meeting new people • Has never shown any aggression or bitten anyone • Enjoys trail walks and outdoor time • Settles nicely on leash after initial excitement Things to Consider ⚠️ • May have occasional accidents indoors if not taken out regularly • Does not do well in a crate and prefers more freedom • Can pull on the leash at the beginning of walks (improves once he calms down) • Will get into trash if it’s not secured/put away • Loves to chew—does best when provided with plenty of durable chew toys • Would do best in a quieter home environment • Needs a yard and consistent exercise to stay happy and balanced -Ideal home: Bleu would thrive in a single-family home with a decent-sized, secure yard where he has space to run and play. He does best in a quieter environment away from busy roads, loud noises, heavy traffic, or construction areas, as those things can sometimes spook him. He would be happiest with an outdoorsy individual or family who enjoys walks, fresh air, and spending time outside, and who can give him the consistent attention, exercise, and companionship he needs. A home where he isn’t left alone for long periods and can truly be part of daily life would be ideal. If you are interested in Bleu, please contact Alexandra alxbryant96@gmail.com or (757) 617-1611 **COURTESY LISTING**

Story
Lady Lucy – Sweet Survivor  Some dogs have a way of capturing your heart the moment you meet them, and Lady Lucy is certainly one of those dogs. Though her past appears to have been filled with uncertainty, she has emerged from it with a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and an unwavering belief that good things are still ahead. Lady Lucy was one of nine dogs discovered living in a remote wooded area of Middle Tennessee after they were apparently abandoned when their owner fell on difficult times. No one knows exactly how long they survived on their own, but their situation touched the hearts of many rescue volunteers who came together to help. With patience, food, water, and kindness, the dogs were gradually brought to safety. Rescue groups across the region stepped forward to help, and Critter Cavalry Rescue was fortunate enough to welcome Lady Lucy into its care. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that Lucy had once known the comforts of a home. She settled in beautifully and quickly showed everyone what a wonderful companion she is. At just over a year old and weighing 32 pounds, Lucy is the perfect size for a family looking for a smaller dog with a big heart. She appears to be a delightful mix of Corgi and Beagle, though her most remarkable feature is her personality. She is affectionate, gentle, and full of love, with the easygoing nature often found in hound breeds. Whether she's relaxing beside you on the couch or quietly following you from room to room, Lucy simply wants to be close to her people. She is fully grown, crate trained, housebroken, and has excellent manners in the home. Lucy currently lives successfully with other dogs and does very well in an active household with teenagers, but she has made it clear that she would not mind having a little less competition for attention. After all she has been through, we think she would happily embrace a life where she can enjoy a bit more of the spotlight and receive the princess treatment she believes is rightfully hers. Lady Lucy has a way of looking into your eyes that makes you feel like you've known each other forever. She is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds, offers unwavering companionship, and fills a home with warmth and comfort. Her difficult past has not diminished her capacity to love; if anything, it seems to have made her even more appreciative of every kindness she receives. Now all that remains is for the right family to find her. Lady Lucy is packed and ready for her next adventure, with an open heart and a hopeful spirit. She is ready to leave her difficult past behind and begin the life she has always deserved with a family who will cherish her as the special girl she truly is. To learn more about Lady Lucy or to request an adoption application, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 14, 2026, 1:03 pm

Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 14, 2026, 1:03 pm
