Story
Small but mighty&#44 and sweeter than my name - Im Popsicle!

At first glance&#44 I might seem a little shy&#44 but give me a minute (and maybe a tasty treat or two)&#44 and youll see what all my fans rave about. Im a tiny gal with a huge heart - cuddly&#44 curious&#44 and full of spunky charm once I know Im safe. Think of me like a cat in a dogs body: social and affectionate&#44 but I like my space respected&#44 especially when were just getting to know each other.

Im more of a solo act - I shine brightest when Im the only animal in the spotlight&#44 so a home without furry roommates is the best fit for me. I do best in a calm&#44 adult environment where things are a little more predictable and low-key.

Popsicle is a part of our Patient Paws special. You can name your adoption fee!

Story
My wife Lucy and I adopted Roberta from Aarf shelter in Richmond about 6 years ago. She was about a year old at the time. Shes healthy and has never had health issues. She has velvety soft fur and is a sweetie pie. She has an uncanny food motivation and loves people, although she oscillates between friendly and indifferent to other dogs, given other stimuli. (She has a hound brother) She is potty trained (knows the expectation) and mostly potties outside but will sometimes potty inside. She loves her crate but has always, since we tried to crate train her as a pup, gotten anxious when its locked. Her ideal home is with someone who can give her lots of love and attention. She loves walks and open spaces outside. Top 6 Roberta descriptors: 1.Sweet 2.Loyal 3.Soft 4.Impeccable Snuggler 5.Independent 6.Hungry! My wife and are looking to rehome her because we have a 5 year old son and are welcoming our 2nd son in addition to our other hound. We love her very much.

Story
Natalie is a sweet 3-year-old Beagle (estimated age) that I adopted from a shelter after she was found as a stray. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and enjoys being around people. She has a low to medium energy level and does well in a calm, stable environment. Natalie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by a foundation at no cost to the adopter. The rescue team is providing guidance and support through the remainder of her treatment. She would do best in a committed home that can offer consistency, patience, and regular walks. She is loving, loyal, and ready to bond closely with her new family.
