Story
Houdini is a six-year-old beagle mix that is very calm and laid back. He was picked up by Animal Control when someone at a school out in the county called about a dog hanging around the building. He was never claimed by his owner and now he is available for adoption. Houdini has all of his vaccinations, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. One little problem did show up on his health check up. He is heartworm positive. No worries! His treatment has already been scheduled. Now lets find him a foster him for treatment and hopefully that will turn into his “forever” home!

Story
Hi… my name is Gus. I was once left alone on the streets, scared and confused, wondering why nobody came back for me. Thankfully, I was rescued by a family who showed me what love and safety felt like for the very first time. Now, through no fault of their own, my family has to move and can’t take me with them. Their hearts are broken, and honestly… so is mine. I’m a very loving, loyal boy who bonds deeply with my people. Because of what I’ve been through, I struggle with being left alone for long periods of time. I have separation anxiety, and I do best when I’m close to the people I love. A home with someone who works from home, is retired, or simply spends a lot of time around would be my dream come true. Loud noises make me nervous, but love and patience help me feel safe. Once I trust you, I will follow you everywhere, curl up beside you, and love you with my whole heart. More than anything, I just want a forever home where I’ll never have to feel abandoned again.
