Story
Meet Ronny, a lively 1 year old Hound and Basset mix who wears a short red and white coat. He's a bundle of joy, always ready to play and spread cheer! Ronny weighs around 45 pounds. His sweet disposition makes him a wonderful companion, his playful nature a source of endless amusement. Ronny was adopted as a pup and after one year of living in his home they had to return him because they could no longer care for him. Ronny walks well on a leash, making him a perfect partner for your morning strolls or evening jogs! Despite his energetic nature, he is also incredibly gentle, making him suitable for families with children. Adopt Ronny and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend and a ray of sunshine! (ME, 5/2/24)   **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $375 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  June 22, 2024, 12:19 am

Story
Meet Tallulah, a 4-month-old beagle mix who has caught on quick to the perks of the good life after being found as a newborn pup in a drainage ditch. Tallulah’s 15-pound beagle-mix mama led rescuers to her five puppies shortly after they were born. Now, at a little more than 4 months old, Tallulah has already surpassed her tiny mama in weight. Weighing in at 20 lbs currently, we think she’ll be a nice medium size when full grown, possibly 40-50 lbs. Tallulah is the sweetest girl who loves to spend time playing outside with her two sisters and the other adult dogs in her foster home. Her playful spirit really shines when she’s chasing her sisters around the yard. She’s so fast and so joyful! She loves to explore the great outdoors and is always the last to come inside. When she does come in, she’s ready to lounge. She loves a comfy dog bed and especially loves when her two sisters cuddle up with her. She also appreciates a good belly rub. Tallulah recently arrived to a new foster home with her sisters, and their foster mom says these girls are the easiest foster puppies she’s ever had. They haven’t had any accidents inside the house, and they’re already sleeping in individual crates overnight with zero complaining. The sisters are super sweet with each other. They don’t bicker; they prefer giving each other kisses and snuggling up. They don’t mind sharing. Tallulah is food motivated, which should make training a breeze. Her sweet, easygoing personality and medium size should make her an easy addition to almost any family. Tallulah’s foster mom hopes her new home will have the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be with daily exercise, training, and lots of love and attention. Story
Are you searching for the perfect medium-sized lap dog? Then meet Tilly, a 6 month-old mutt, whose favorite hobby is being in your lap!  Tilly is a little bit of everything! According to her sister Twyla’s breed test, Tilly would likely be part beagle, pit bull, boxer, German shepherd, Australian shepherd, bulldog, Eskimo dog and even a little bit of chihuahua!  Tilly’s beagle-mix mama only weighed 15 pounds so we’re guessing that’s where Tilly’s tiny bit of chihuahua heritage comes from. Tilly is on track to be a nice medium-sized dog when full grown, likely topping out at 40-something pounds. Tilly does have the beagle bark, but she rarely uses it. Only when truly necessary!  Tilly has been in a foster home with her two sisters for eight weeks now, and their foster mom says these girls are the easiest foster puppies she’s ever had. They are fully potty trained and sleep in individual crates overnight with zero complaining. Tilly is super sweet toward her two sisters and adores the adult dogs in her foster home.  Tilly loves to play and run around the yard, but she spends most of the day lounging and napping.  Tilly enjoys the company of kids, and she is very chill for a puppy and very loving. She’s also super food motivated, which should make training a breeze. Her sweet, easygoing personality and medium size should make her an easy addition to almost any family.  Her foster mom hopes her new family will have the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be with daily exercise and lots of love and attention.

She’s super calm for a puppy and is a calming presence for her two sisters, who can be a bit nervous in new situations.  Her sweet disposition, calmness and medium size should make her an overall easy dog.  Twyla’s foster mom hopes her new home will have the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be with daily exercise and lots of love and attention.

Story
Grady is a wonderful four year-old spaniel beagle mix. I adopted him when he was just a baby from the greater Birmingham Humane Society in 2020. Unfortunately, I must give him away to a kind, loving, energetic family because I am leaving for the United States Navy soon. He has been an amazing family dog and he is super energetic, super kind, and the best dog to be around. He’s clingy and he loves attention, Grady is super playful. He’s really good with other people and animals, but he is really scared of frogs. He can really be the life of the party. He loves to run around and he needs a lot of space. He love peanut butter and apples too. I will admit, he doesn’t listen super well and he needs a secure, fenced in yard because he will explore your neighborhood. Even though he will always come back. He’s also not the greatest on a leash. He’s an indoor dog as well. I really want him to be placed in a loving home with lots of energy and space and attention. Thank you so much!
