Meet Nugget (aka Chicken Nugget): small name, BIG ENERGY. Nugget is currently in the menace phase of puppyhood, also known as the prime learning, exploring, zooming, and “what is THAT and can I interact with it?” stage of life. He wakes up every day ready to party, investigate the universe, and learn everything as fast as his little puppy brain will allow—which, honestly, is very fast. This guy is sharp, eager, and genuinely loves training. He learns quickly and has fun doing it, which makes him an ideal candidate for someone who enjoys working with their dog and doesn’t mind a little (okay, a lot of) puppy chaos along the way. Before coming to Living Free, Nugget was a staff favorite at the county shelter, where he received extra love, handling, and socialization—and it shows. He’s still figuring out the world, but he approaches it with confidence, curiosity, and zero hesitation. Nugget is more than ready for adventures, structure, guidance, and a home that understands puppies are adorable, exhausting, and completely worth it. As for size? If his age is accurate, we guess he’ll top out around 50 lbs, but with an unknown past, that’s just our best estimate. Nugget may grow bigger, stay smaller, or simply grow into an even larger personality. If your life feels a little too calm… If you’ve been missing joy, laughter, and a dog who keeps you on your toes… If you’re ready to commit to training, enrichment, and embracing the chaos… Chicken Nugget is ready to report for duty.
