Story
Meet Stella Rose🌹 This sweet girl has come such a long way on her journey to becoming a brave, confident pup. Stella is what we call a “project dog,” meaning she’ll need a patient adopter willing to earn her trust—but the reward is truly something special. Stella thrives around other dogs and does wonderfully with cats. She’s especially happy when she has furry friends to guide her—she’s playful, cuddly, and finds comfort in their companionship. Food is also the way to her heart! She eats well and loves snacks, which we’re using to help build trust and confidence. Since arriving at her foster home, Stella has experienced many “firsts”—including her recent bath, which she handled like a champ! We’re continuing to work on helping her feel safe and secure in her crate. Stella will likely always need extra caution, as she can be a bit of a flight risk. She currently wears a no-slip harness (included with adoption) to help keep her safe. Her ideal home includes: 🐶 1–2 well-adjusted, friendly dogs 🏡 A secure, fenced yard 💛 Patient, understanding adult humans In just a couple of weeks with her foster, Stella has already made incredible progress. With the right home, she’ll continue to blossom into the amazing companion we know she can be. Ready to give Stella Bella Beags the loving, patient home she deserves? If so, please visit allhoundrescue.org/adopt to complete your adoption questionnaire 🐶💖

Story
This is Boba! He’s a 60lb, ten-year-old hound-mix and he’s ready for his forever home. We don’t know what he’s mixed with, but we know he’s a sweet, goofy, adorable guy that’s such a character. Boba is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and taking monthly preventatives. Boba is also potty trained and doesn’t require a crate. He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and loves going on walks. He loves people - his tail starts wagging when they approach. He’s got a great temperament and really just enjoys hanging out, relaxing and enjoying his people. Boba would do best in a home without cats. He’s currently being fostered in an home with other dogs who are older and don’t pay him much attention. He would be best in an home by himself or with other dogs who aren’t actively trying to play with him. Boba does currently require prescription food. If this wonderful, and silly guy looks like he’d be a great fit for you, please reach out or fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt

Story
Buddy's mom can no longer care for him, but he still has a lot of love to give. He can be playful like a puppy or lay next to you on the couch for hours. He is 100% house trained and is good on the leash or off. He is not a runner. One of the images is a video of him playing with a puppy. We have been fostering Buddy for 6 months this year, but we have a dog and live in a condo with a one dog limit. He is in good health and just needs someone to love him.

Story
Hi, I'm Bailey! I am a very sweet lovable little dog. Lot's of information is unknown about me because my owner has dementia and can't take care me any more. She was the only one who knew my history of how old I am or where I came from other than I was a rescue dog. We used to be best buds but because of her progressive illness I have to go to a new home. The good news is I have someone who is trying to find me a new loving home. Bailey is about 30-35 pounds, loves walks and I am guessing about 7 years old. His owner did not have any other dogs or cats so he may not have had any contact with other animals. Please consider giving him a new forever home. He has a lot of love to share.

Story
Mr. Pluto is on the hunt for his forever sofa and it very well could be yours. Pluto Potato is around 6 years old. He’s a basset hound mix weighing around 72lbs. He’s a big, sweet boy. He loves toys, belly rubs, naps, and soaking up love from his humans. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. Pluto is potty trained and while he walks fine on a leash, he is a little lazy and not very motivated to go on walks. This could be due to his healing injuries after being struck by a car right before coming to us, or because he’s half basset (haha). Pluto is not food aggressive, but he’s food motivated. He is currently being fostered with two other dogs and seems to get along well with them, they even share food and water bowls with no issue. He’s also not toy aggressive, and shares nicely, unless it comes to treats. He’ll steal a treat without shame. 🤣 That said, he is very polite and gentle when it comes to taking a treat. Pluto is crate trained, but can be protective of his crate when he’s in there, and will give a growl if you try to get him out before he’s ready. His foster family keeps his crate door open and he goes in and out at his leisure. Pluto does well with people, cats, and other calm dogs. He hasn’t been tested with children, but would likely do well with older kids. He’d be best in a home with a family who want to give him plenty of attention. It’s clear he’s a very loving dog and craves affection. If Pluto is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption questionnaire by visiting AllHoundRescue.org/adopt

Story
One of our favorite seasoned hounds is ready for adoption. His name is George. George is an 8 year old Bassador (basset hound + labrador) and he’s the perfect gentleman. George weighs in at around 46lbs, making him a mid-size boy. He’s good with both people and dogs. His foster family has an outdoor cat that he also gets along with. He’s never had a bad experience with children, but hasn’t been exposed to many while he’s been in our care. Actually, he’s never shown any sort of aggression toward his foster family at all. George is not crated at his foster home, and isn’t destructive. He loves to find a new sunny spot outside and take a nap. He also finds real joy in community and acts like a care taker for the other dogs around him. He enjoys a good car ride, walks well on a leash, and isn’t very chatty so you don’t have to worry about any constant barking. Because George is a more seasoned hound, he’s a little hard of hearing, so it’s best to wake him with scent or vibration so that he doesn’t get startled or scared coming out of sleep. He’s both parts cuddly and independent, so sometimes he’ll snuggle with you and sometimes he’ll enjoy his own dog bed. His ideal home would be one that allows him the ability to enjoy the outdoors at his leisure. Sunbathing is important to George and he’s lived a life that has afforded him that luxury. His foster mom wants to emphasize that George would thrive in a home with at least one other dog. He really loves his canine companions and gets a lonely without them. If George had a favorite food it would be chicken. If he had a second favorite food it would be cheese. His favorite place to be is wherever his humans need to stand, and he still enjoys the occasional zoomies. If George sounds like the guy for you, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt
