Story
Bonnie is absolutely gorgeous and pictures don't do her any justice. She is as loving as she is gorgeous. Bonnie can be found playing with the many dogs and puppies she's grown up around or snuggled up somewhere soft and comfortable. She loves life and will make a great addition to many families. Don't pass this sweet baby girl up! She wants a forever home to call hers. Bonnie 2 can be cat tested upon request. Please use the link below to apply for her.https://www.equineremedy.com/application-linksBonnie is from a litter of puppies that are so sweet and happy! They are mixed breed pups who were found dumped with their mom in a ditch in a plastic tote that was zip-tied shut. They have come a lot way since rescue and are now loving life! They are social babies, not shy at all. The pups will end up medium sized, with mom being on the smaller side at 35 pounds.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Story
Presley was left behind when her family moved and left her to fend for herself. She was picked up by SGER when she was sleeping on a neighbor's porch on a cool day so she could stay warm, She's playful, gets along with most dogs, hasn't been introduced to cats that we know of (can be cat tested upon request), and just a sweet girl that loves attention and people. Story
Gator is an absolutely adorable purebred Beagle. The Good Samaritans who surrendered him had Gator for several weeks before bringing him in. Consequently, they were able to give us some pertinent information about him. Gator is approximately 5 years old and very sweet. Like most beagles, he will most likely make a great family dog. Beagles are famous for their affability and affection and are just the right size! The finder said Gator was somewhat housebroken, but had a few accidents. He also adjusted well to being in their home and loved to lounge on the couch. Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment or stop in Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. Gator is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Gator would love to be in a home again, even if you're a Bulldawg fan.

Story
What we know about Pumpkin A006141: -2 yo- 40lbs- Female (spayed)- UTD on shots- On Flea/Tick and heartworm prevention-Microchipped-HW status- HW+ (easily treated by any vet. Has completed a month of doxy and currently on HW preventative (slow kill HW treatment)-Dog Tested- Not been tested but did come in with 6 other adult dogs and some of her puppies. So is likely dog friendly. A meet and greet is always recommended for any potential furry siblings. Dog tests can be done at request.-Cat Tested- Not been tested but can be done at request-Medium energy level. Loves to go on walks and get in the play yards to stretch her legs, but also loves to sunbathe and snuggle.-Came from a home previously that had kids, but I would recommend either going to a no kid household or 10+ kids.-Would do best in a semi calm home (will explain more below)Pumpkin was part of an animal cruelty case where it was speculated that the dogs were both physically abused and neglected. All the dogs from this case came to the shelter in rough physical shape and they were mentally shutting down. Pumpkin specifically had multiple puppies with her, one of which was special needs. We’ve also been told that her other puppies were taken from her and she likely witnessed their deaths. She and the other dogs from this case are learning that all humans are not bad. She will need a home that is understanding of her past and is willing to work and love her through.Once Pumpkin warms up to people and is able to be herself she does the happiest prance! (Pumpkin’s- Intake date was: 12.1.23) If you think Pumpkin could be the perfect addition to your family, please call 912-554-7500, send an email animalservices@glynncounty-ga.gov, or visit 190 Carl Alexander Way, Brunswick, GA 31525. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday 12-5PM Sundays 1-4PM and are technically closed to the public on Monday’s but are willing to work with people if needed.
