Pickles was found as a stray in a neighboring county. We are still getting to know him, but he has done very well here. We believe Pickles would do well in a home with other dogs that have his medium energy level. Because he likes to sing the song of his people when left alone, apartments or close neighbors are not recommended. Pickles was heartworm positive on arrival, but will be treated here by our professional medical team. In the meantime he is available to go home with his new family as a foster. Pickles can live with you while you get to know each other as he undergoes treatment here. Come by and meet this handsome guy 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Pickles is neutered, microchipped and current on core vaccines. Pickles is kind of a big dill lol

Presley was left behind when her family moved and left her to fend for herself. She was picked up by SGER when she was sleeping on a neighbor's porch on a cool day so she could stay warm, She's playful, gets along with most dogs, hasn't been introduced to cats that we know of (can be cat tested upon request), and just a sweet girl that loves attention and people. She would make a great companion to most people.We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Oliver is a fun and loving baby that is actually quite lazy. When he does decide to play, he is go go go and will go until he is ready for another nap. You can find him lazing in the sun or sleeping in a dog house when he isn't surrounded by his siblings or others. He loves food and pets, which will quickly win him over. Sugar Plum is not as outgoing as her brother, but she’s definitely sweet as sugar. All she wants to do is curl up in your lap and get all the pets and attention she can get. She plays well with others and is just a cutie patootie that clearly hasn’t been treated nicely in her short little life. She and her brother were seized from a home after being found with frozen peas in their bowls, thin, and on a short leads outside. She’s learning to be loved and it’s wonderful to see.
