Story
Calling all hound lovers! Ethel was transferred in from an open admission facility. Like many hound breeds, she is docile, timid, and gentle. Of course, being a true southern hound, she is also heartworm positive. Not to worry, our awesome medical team will treat her. In the meantime, Ethel is available to go home with a family as a foster to adopt. This is an awesome opportunity to make sure she is a good match for you and your family. We also believe Ethel would do well in a home with other dogs. We are always happy to do a meet and greet. Come and meet this pretty little girl 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Ethel is spayed, microchipped and current on core vaccines.

Story
Minerva hails from a neighboring county. Her rescuer reported that their neighbor moved and abandoned Minerva and her puppies. She is a gentle, well mannered dog. Minerva has also done well with other dogs, cats, and even children. Having never been given the comfort of living indoors, Minerva is not housetrained. However, we find sometimes dogs coming from that situation are only comfortable going potty outside. That could definitely make training easier! We are guessing Minerva did not have the medical basics provided for her, as she is also heartworm positive. This is a huge plus for adopters in the long run, as she can be fostered while undergoing treatment. It is a great opportunity for you, your family and Minerva to bond. Adoption is finalized after treatment. Come and meet this precious medium size girl 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. We are happy to answer all your questions about Minerva`s foster to adopt situation. Minerva is spayed, microchipped and current on core vaccines. For those Harry Potter fans, no she does not transform into a cat.

Story
Georgie was brought in by a local good Samaritan. Obviously, like the song says, a country boy can survive! He showed up at their farm, but was never reclaimed. Georgie appears to be a purebred beagle and is also a very cute size, only 22 pounds. While just a touch too heavy to technically be a pocket beagle, Georgie is pretty darn close. He has done well with other dogs, which is a plus! His rescuer said he was not housetrained, but at 3 years of age, he should catch on quickly with gentle training. Come and meet this country boy 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Georgie has such a precious face and personality. He is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.

Story
Hey Hey! My name is Bonnie and I'm the last girl left in my litter, even my mom has a home! I would love to get away from my goofy brothers so I can really shine! I can be a little shy with new people, but I promise I warm up quickly! One thing I'm really great at is sharing my toys! I love to carry things around and will make sure to show you what I have! My brother Gabe does the same thing, but shhh don't tell him that I'm way cuter when I do it! It's a girl thing! Anyway, after being at the rescue for over 400 days, I would really like a home of my own! I promise I'll love you as long as you love me! Bonnie 2 can be cat tested upon request.
