Baylee was found on 4 July and sadly nobody ever claimed her so now she is looking for a new home. Baylee is such a sweet girl and one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever met. Her tail never stops wagging. What we do know about Baylee at this point is that she is great with children and walks well on a leash. She is good with other dogs, cats and chickens, but she will snap at other animals if they get too close to her food bowl. She is house, trained, micro tipped and up-to-date on her vaccines and had a full panel of bloodwork and which everything looks good. She is definitely a runner and will need a good fence.

Hey y’all! I’m Bubba! I am a 3-year-old beagle with lots of spunk! I am your stereotypical beagle with a heart of gold and a nose that likes to lead the way! My friends here did not have a ton of information on my life before I came in but they say I am doing great learning the ropes. I have been good with potty training but just like anything in life, I am a work in progress! My ideal family would be be willing to teach me new commands (and this should not be too hard if there are treats involved!) We believe she's a Beagle/Hound mix, complete with long, silky ears that she absolutely loves to have scratched. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, she's your girl. She loves to stay close to her people, snuggle up, and take cozy naps by your side.   She has a gentle, affectionate personality and already knows several basic commands, including sit, lay down, and shake. She's incredibly food motivated, making her eager to learn and highly trainable. We're currently working on leash manners, and she's making great progress.   Like many hounds, she has plenty to say! Her hilarious Chewbacca-like "talking" and signature hound voice keep us laughing every day. She'll do best with someone who appreciates the vocal, scent-driven nature of hound breeds.   She loves water and regularly takes a dip in the kiddie pool.   She has fit seamlessly into her foster's home with their resident pets (dogs and cats) Because she enjoys canine companionship and doesn't love being alone, she'd thrive in a home with another friendly dog or with someone who is home much of the day.   She is potty trained and has overcome so much already. We don't know how long she survived as a stray, but that experience left her with some food insecurity.
