Petrie may be tiny, but he has a personality that is anything but! Named after Petrie from The Land Before Time, this little guy is a 10 week old Beagle/Chihuahua mix who may have some Aussie mixed in there somewhere thanks to his coloring and the other dogs on the property. Honestly, the easiest way to describe him is a mega mutt 😂 Petrie is actually our sweet Roxi’s baby! When he came to us, he was completely unsocialized. He was scared, unsure of people, and definitely had a little bit of spice to him. Fast forward to now and he is doing AMAZING. He is incredibly sweet, playful, smart, and has really come out of his shell. He is already fully puppy pad trained, does great in a kennel, and is learning all about the world around him. He is not leash trained yet because he is so tiny that he can slip right out of just about everything 😂 but it is something his foster is working on with him. Petrie is looking for someone who understands that he is still a baby and will need patience, time, and consistency. He needs someone willing to give him the time to realize that he is safe and that he is home. He still isn’t a huge fan of being picked up, but he is working on it and continues to make progress. He has done well with kids, but we are looking for a home with children 7+. A fenced in yard AND another confident dog in the home are REQUIRED for Petrie. We are not budging on either of these requirements. He really benefits from having another dog to learn from and gain confidence from, and we want him to have the safest environment possible while he continues growing. He is currently being fostered with Pip Squeak, and these two are the best of friends 🥹 They love playing together and have been doing great together. Petrie is such a fun little puppy, and watching him go from a scared, spicy little guy to the happy, playful puppy he is now has been so rewarding. Look at those EARS! 👀😍 Roxi is around 3 years old and this adorable little Beagle mix is ready to find her people! Roxi has come such a long way and is really starting to show off her goofy, happy personality. She’s a total outdoor girl who loves zooming around the yard, rolling around, and hanging out with her favorite chew. She’s also learning that toys are pretty awesome! She LOVES other dogs and would really enjoy having a canine friend in her new home. She can be a little much sometimes because she wants to be involved in absolutely everything, but she’s just excited and full of personality 😂 She’s also a clever little thing who catches onto training quickly, especially when treats are involved. She’s doing great with her potty routine and is learning her basic commands. Roxi will need an adopter who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight for her. She may be unsure when meeting new people or experiencing something unfamiliar, but give her some time and you’ll get to see the silly, affectionate girl underneath it all. Baylee was found on 4 July and sadly nobody ever claimed her so now she is looking for a new home. Baylee is such a sweet girl and one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever met. Her tail never stops wagging. What we do know about Baylee at this point is that she is great with children and walks well on a leash. She is good with other dogs, cats and chickens, but she will snap at other animals if they get too close to her food bowl. She is house, trained, micro tipped and up-to-date on her vaccines and had a full panel of bloodwork and which everything looks good. She is definitely a runner and will need a good fence.

My friends here don’t have a ton of information on my life before I came in but they say I am learning quickly!
