My friends here don’t have a ton of information on my life before I came in but they say I am learning quickly! I do great with other dogs here, but I would love to meet your dogs if you have any just to make sure we’re a good fit! My ideal family would be patient and willing to teach me new commands (this should not be too hard if there are treats involved!) I’m afraid to take him to a shelter but I can’t keep him.Pringle is a 4yr old loving goofball that wants to be part of whatever you are doing.He is unbothered by fireworks.He does well with our cat but forgets that he isn't cat sized so he might intimidate timid or shy cats.He does bark at other dogs when on leash but is getting better. He has gotten along with well socialized and behaved dogs off leash.Might not be a good match with little kids as he can become a 30lb bulldozer when he gets excited.Pringle does have a bite history and that is why we are rehoming. The 2 bite events (Dec 2025 & Jan 2026) were not aggressive. They seemed to be defensive and he was pretty upset after the event too. My son is autistic and can’t read non-verbal cues and doesn’t understand personal space. He likely overstepped a boundary. I can give more details on request, since I have a limited space here.Pringle has had a few seizures. no medication just an awareness to keep him safe. Last seizure 4/22/26

Hansel is working on house training and some basic manners. WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT HANSEL COMES WITH FREE TRAINING WITH ROSIE DANE DOG TRAINING! Thanks to the Pedigree Foundation, we are able to work with the trainers at Rosie Dane Dog Training to pay for a 10 week Novice Training course once adopted. More details available upon request! SPECIAL NEEDSMeet Stewart! UPDATE: June 2, 2021- In December of 2020, Stewart suffered a ruptured disc and has spinal surgery. It left him unable to walk, but now that he is healed, he is doing therapy and regaining strength and starting to walk. Right now, Stewart is special needs and has wheels to help him. He will need a special home that can handle special needs and continue therapy so he can fully walk again. Stewart is an 11 year old Beagle. Stewart came to us emaciated, but he is now healthy and ready to be adopted! Stewart needs a home that will be patient and work with him on house training and socializing. Stewart is good with dogs his size and prefers female companions over males. He also needs a fenced yard where he cannot escape, and his “beagle nose” get him into trouble. He would not do well in a subdivision, apartment, or townhome. He is very vocal so a place with a little more land would be more suitable. Orange Crush (named after a Jelly Bean flavor) is a fun puppy learning puppy basic training (sit, down, stay, leash walk, potty training) in the Paws Behind Bars - Luther Luckett Correctional Complex Dog Training Program! He has a smoother coat, beautiful marble eyes, a lovely temperament and the bravery to try new things like horseback ride on our super friendly guy, Kipper! He is around seven months of age, has that reddish Terrier nose and earset. We believe his size will be similar to his mother's, around 35 pounds when grown. He has a DNA test and was a Heinz 57 breed mix of many breeds; among some of those listed, Pug, Beagle, Boxer, American Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Rat Terrier and American Eskimo.
