Meet Bud 🐶💙Bud is a 5-year-old male Beagle mix who was owner released and is now looking for a loving, understanding home. Bud is an extremely shy and fearful boy who is nervous around sudden movements, so he will need a patient family who can help him feel safe and build trust at his own pace.At this time, we don’t know how Bud does with other animals or children, and his house or crate training status is unknown.He is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and is ready to be adopted. Bud has the potential to become a loyal, loving companion for a family willing to give him the patience, care, and gentle guidance he needs. 🐾💛Bud's Adoption Fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

We were in our front yard and this dog came up behind me and bumped my hand, looked to be pregnant, 3 weeks later we have 8 beagle/mix puppies. Macy must have came from a home that trained her, she goes to the door to go do her business, understand commands, a very well disapplend dog. Vet told us approximately 2 years old. We had her chipped, she is through nursing and on Monday, January 5th we will get her fixed. A very good dog, we would keep her but I'm 75 and my wife is 69,and we just can't. We are trying to find foster parents to for the 8 puppies, Macy is great with kids. Thanks for any help we can get. Thanks

It’s been said that “good things come in small packages,” and we couldn’t agree more! Our favorite 20lb beagle, Vivienne is officially ready to find her forever family! Vivienne is about 8 years old and is absolutely precious. Don’t let the number 8 fool you, she still has plenty of energy and life left! Vivi loves every human , even the tiny ones. She currently lives with a 2 year old human foster, and two big dogs, who she gets along great with! Vivi is house-trained and kennel-trained, she will go in on command, and sleep through the night without a peep- okay well maybe some snores. She does have some separation anxiety but her fosters have been working on that, and Vivi has made amazing progress. Viv loves to spend her days roaming the backyard, and protecting you from squirrels. Because she’s a hound and her nose has a lot of work to do, she would do best with a secure fence. She enjoys long naps on the couch and walks to the fridge. The ideal home for this sweet girl would be with someone who is patient and understanding. We aren’t sure what Vivi went through, but she didn’t have many kind hands petting her, so she can be nervous at first. Vivi would do best with another dog to help her continue to build her confidence.
