Story
Meet Bella, a sweet beagle pup looking for a home of her own! This kiddo has spent her life predominantly outdoors, and so will need some time and patience to help her adjust to living indoors, including working on her housetraining. Living in a home is going to be a big transition for her, but she is sure to reward your efforts with plenty of tail wags and kisses!Bella has a good history living with another dog, and has enjoyed making new dog friends at the shelter, so she could do well in a home with another dog. We have no history of her interacting with cats, but think she could do ok with a well-matched, dog savvy cat with a slow introduction. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to give this sweet girl the time and care she needs to settle in, she would love to be a part of your home!

Meet Sadie, a striking and very sweet 9 yo beagle looking for a new home. Sadie lived predominantly outdoors before coming into our care, so she will need some time and support in order to get the hang of living inside of a home, including working on her housetraining. She`s already becoming an expert on sniffy walks, and loves to snuggle up with her people for some quality TLC. Sadie has a good history living with another dog, and has enjoyed making new dog friends at the shelter, so she could do well in a home with another dog. We have no history of her interacting with cats, but think she could do ok with a well-matched, dog savvy cat with a slow introduction. If you’re patient, loving, and ready to give this sweet girl the time and care she needs to settle in, she would love to be a part of your home!

Robbie is a 5-year old beagle who didn't cut it in the hunting world! He is now looking for a foster or adoptive home :) He is awesome with people, cats and other dogs. He loves affection and is very personable! He is doing awesome with crate training but will howl when left home alone for extended periods of time, especially if he doesn't get enough exercise before going into his crate. If he has a chew and some exercise beforehand, he does much better! For more info check out unfurget.org under Adopt :)

Story
Meet Thomas!Thomas is a young beagle mix - we say mix because he's way too tall to be full beagle. We don't know exactly what he's mixed with but it's definitely some kind of hound. He's only about a year old so very, VERY much still a crazy goofy goober with puppy-like energy and behaviors. He's about 35lbs so a good medium-sized boy...just with very long legs.Thomas is all things beagle - he has the big beagle bark, the need for speed, and the neverending urge to chase rabbits and squirrels. He does well with other dogs and just wants to play with them immediately so any other dog in the home will need to match the ✨vibes✨ We are looking for a home without cats - he'll be an instigator and pester them incessantly at the absolute minimum.Unfortunately for Thomas, he is heartworm positive. He will be starting treatment soon so we are looking for a "foster to adopt" arrangement. Treatment will be handled by us at one of our local vets so adopters must be prepared and be able to reliably make it to and from appointments. He also needs his activity restricted - leash walks are okay but, much to his displeasure, the speed demon antics need to be put on hold for now. He isn't terrible on a leash but does have the tendency to zigzag.Thomas is a sweet, affectionate, outgoing guy that loves people, attention, and all kinds of affection. He'll run right up to anyone and be their best friend - stranger danger is not a concept he knows and he doesn't care to find out. He's just looking for his partner in crime 💜To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Wonderful dog. Well trained, comes to her name, sits, stays, goes "out," does not crowd food bowl. Very friendly but independent and does not have any separation anxiety. While docile and loving with all humans and gets along with most dogs, she is aggressive with cats, mice, rabbits, snakes (sees them as prey). I am looking for temporary adoption while I am away. Looking for the time period of July 31, 2026- September 30, 2026.

Story
Update 07/05/2026 Hey Everyone, Wally here. I have grown & matured since last visiting. My foster mom laughs and talks to me and I act all silly. I would be great with a family (including cats & other dogs). I am part Beagle /hound so I do follow my nose. I need a fenced in yard. I would be a great companion to go on hikes & camping. For that matter, I am a great road trip buddy. I will not change the radio or every 100- 200 miles need a potty break. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. I am ready to come home. WALLY Hello world, my name is Wally. I am the cutest fellow you have ever met. I am a red/fawn with black trim Beagle mix. At first glance you would think I am an old man because of the white on my mouth. But, this is not true. My age is around 2- 3 years old. My teeth are beautiful. I am prematurely turning gray. While I was being neutered, the vet saw a bump on top of my head. The bump was healed with no sign of what could possibly be in it. So when the vet opened the bump, a pellet came out. She and her staff were discussed with finding the pellet, and sorrowful with the thought of what he has been through. The pellet is a small clue into my past. My foster family spotted me crossing a deserted country road carrying something in my mouth running to an open field. They say at first I looked like I was heading someplace carrying a prize. But once I realized they had stopped, car door open and wanted me to get in, that's all it took. I dropped what I was carrying and ran to them. What hasn't been mentioned is where they found me, there is not any homes for a few miles in either direction. My chances of just being lost are non- existing; I was dumped. I am so happy, when I see people or other animals, I sing my beautiful Beagle song. I am ready for my furever family and have adventures. I love car rides, snuggling, and playing. I have never been hike or camping, but, I know I would love it. My foster mom noticed how I like splashing in the water bowls. There is a world of fun waiting. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com to begin the adoption process. Once you receive the application, please fill out completely including your three references email addresses. Your references cannot be related to you.
