Story
Kruezz is a beagle, Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix. He is 8 years old and up to date on all of his shots. He’s got a clean bill of health through Marion Animal Hispital. He is very smart and understands many words. He eats normal dog food and any human food - his favorite is cheese. He is kennel trained…. Where he prefers to sleep under the blankets. He loves attention. He gets territorial at times. He’s friendly once he gets to know you… but he does not like strangers. He gets along well with all kids and other animals. He has been known to nip - only when he feels under attack. He has broken skin when strangers enter the home and don’t approach him appropriately - but nothing needing medial attention, just a band aid. He loves walks. He howls once in a while. He has become more calm in his 8 years. He is prone to ear infections so they have to stay dry. He doesn’t mind a shower or bath but his nails have to be professionally done. He will let you know when he has to pee, poop, eat, or sleep.

Will sit like a meerkat for treats. : Lox is a young guy who is still learning his potty manners and how to be brave on walks. He’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who can give him a yard to play in and a lap to nap on. : Anything Stella & Chewy! : Nuzzling into your neck. Looking for a tiny bestie?  Lox is ready for a home!    This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2700119##

Story
Hello world, my name is Wally. I am the cutest fellow you have ever met. I am a red/fawn with black trim Beagle mix. At first glance you would think I am an old man because of the white on my mouth. But, this is not true. My age is around 2- 3 years old. My teeth are beautiful. I am prematurely turning gray. While I was being neutered, the vet saw a bump on top of my head. The bump was healed with no sign of what could possibly be in it. So when the vet opened the bump, a pellet came out. She and her staff were discussed with finding the pellet, and sorrowful with the thought of what he has been through. The pellet is a small clue into my past. My foster family spotted me crossing a deserted country road carrying something in my mouth running to an open field. They say at first I looked like I was heading someplace carrying a prize. But once I realized they had stopped, car door open and wanted me to get in, that's all it took. I dropped what I was carrying and ran to them. What hasn't been mentioned is where they found me, there is not any homes for a few miles in either direction. My chances of just being lost are non- existing; I was dumped. I am so happy, when I see people or other animals, I sing my beautiful Beagle song. I am ready for my furever family and have adventures. I love car rides, snuggling, and playing. I have never been hike or camping, but, I know I would love it. My foster mom noticed how I like splashing in the water bowls. There is a world of fun waiting. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com to begin the adoption process. Once you receive the application, please fill out completely including your three references email addresses. Your references cannot be related to you.
