Hello, We adopted Bagels 5-6 years ago, she was full grown and a victim of Hurricane Michael. she was in a professional breeding center for beagles and it got flooded and the kennel ruined. They sent the dogs up north and east and she landed in PA where a local agency found her and brought her to Martha’s Vineyard. We took her home to our house with a cat, a 7 yr old dog we adopted in St. John USVI. She lives on 1.8 acre parcel and continues to defy the odds and runs after a scent - howling along the way. My neighbors are complaining and threatening action. She is resistant to any training- collar use only sometimes works. She digs under fencing and takes off! She needs a farm because she always! Always! Comes home! I’m sad but I have no choice. 🥹
