Story
We adopted Oakley from a lady in New York in March of last year. She will be 2 years old on 12/2/2025. She is a very high energy dog, but we just do not have the time to put towards giving her the attention that she needs. She loves to play play play. She could go all day if you would let her. She wants outside during the day almost every 2-3 hours, not so much because of potty, but I think because she is bored. She still has accidents around the house right now, though I think that is because we are not home to let her out. She is kennel trained to sleep in inside one at night. Approximately 10pm, and she knows it is bedtime. She's not a bad dog. She's a beagle. So, she has that beagle bark, and she is beagle maintenance. She's very loving, and precocious. She would need someone that would be willing or able to have time to put toward her care. Have the space for her. And not have other dogs. She does not do well with other dogs, unfortunately.

Story
We're looking to rehome our sweet dog to a loving family. He was adopted as a puppy and has been raised around kids, he's gentle, playful and loves to cuddle. He's happiest when he's around people and would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give him lots of attention and affection. We have a fenced yard but its not quite secure enough to keep him from finding his way underneath. Unfortunately we're not able to make the changes needed to keep him safely contained. We just want to find him a home where he can stay safe and loved.

Story
Hi there! I'm Ben, a sweet, gentle, friendly, and somewhat shy beagle boy who survived an extreme cruelty case. Now that I'm safe with Beagle Freedom Project, I'm looking forward to finding an adopter who will give me lots of snuggles, playtime, and love! I may be an older guy, but I still have a lot of life to live and even more love to give! I can be a little but shy because of my ruff past, but once you get to know me, you'll find that I'm a darling senior boy who wants nothing more than to curl up by your side for a nap or to take a leisurely stroll together! I do well with other dogs, but really I love people more than anything. I promise to be the most loyal companion ever for my family. Could you give me the furever home I've been dreaming of? My location: HURON, OH *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal.
