Shorty is the best dog I've ever known. I love him. He is a bit older now, so he really loves a good spot that's comfy for a nap, his dragon stuffed toy, and to just be near his people. He's so nice. I just cannot take care of him anymore due to mental health and having a new baby. I really wish someone would give him a good home for his final years. He deserves it.

He had a very rough start in life and came from a place where he was mistreated and locked away. Because of his past, Pickles is looking for a patient family who can give him lots of love, attention, and a calm place to live. He is still learning how to calm himself down when he gets overwhelmed, and a peaceful home will help him feel safe. Right now, Pickles weighs 15 pounds and needs to gain a little bit of weight to get to his healthiest self. Don't let his small size fool you, though—he has a ton of energy and absolutely loves to play!This little guy loves his humans so much that he wants to be glued to your side 24/7. He acts like a little shadow right now because he is still building up his confidence. He just needs a family to show him that he is truly loved, safe, and appreciated. Here are a few more wonderful things about Pickles:Great with other pets: He is friendly with both cats and dogs, though he mostly just ignores them and does his own thing.Good with people: He likes humans and does well with calm children. Approx 50 Lbs.   She is spayed, chipped and current on all her shots including heart worm /flea/tick medicine. She loves kids, fully potty and crate trained. She got along with our cat, never had a problem with other dogs and loves Doggie Day Care. She knows her basic commands including how to “Whisper”.  She loves kids and toddlers but can be a little shy around strangers at first. She loves to go on walks and snuggle with you after her walk.    The animal listed on this page was listed as a courtesy to help find the animal a home.
