Story
Walter is a sweetheart. He is very energetic when he wants to be. I live in an apartment, and he needs a home with the backyard that is fenced in. He loves to run and he will continue to run and that is why he needs a yard because where I’m at is on a fairly busy street and he’s gonna get hit one of these days and there’s just no way to keep him in here. It’s too small in here and he once outside he just slips on by and runs. He is 9 1/2 years old than I know of and he loves being around people. He does not like to be left alone for a long time. If he’s kennel it has to be a big kennel that he has enough space and not Phil closed in he loves streets. He gets along with other dogs and has gone to daycare before he’s up-to-date on all of his shots, he loves riding cars and hang out the window, no matter how cold or how hot he loves to be chased by bigger dogs because he is very fast. They tire out way before him, and then he will sleep for hours. He is the perfect size not too small not

Story
Bella has truly blossomed in foster care and is showing us what a sweet, spunky little queen she is. She absolutely loves her people and would happily rule the house if given the opportunity — preferably from a cozy blanket nest she has burrowed into (making the bed is now officially a team sport). Bella is active, playful, and happiest when she’s near her humans. She still sometimes cowers when first approached, but she doesn’t run away — she clearly wants the affection and melts into cuddles once she realizes she’s safe. She loves being outside (snow or not!) and is starting to enjoy toys — especially if she can use them to tease the bigger dogs. She even fetches beautifully when she’s in the mood. Bella does well with other dogs overall, though she has strong opinions about food and may try to supervise (or sample) their bowls once they’re done, so structured mealtimes are important. She appears fully potty trained with no accidents and does well with free rein of the house. She’s not a fan of the kennel anymore, but she settles nicely when given space. Bella has also discovered her voice and will bark at outdoor excitement, but she responds well to redirection and willingly comes inside when called. With her long-legged “wiener dog” look and constantly happy expression, Bella is pure charm. She would likely thrive as an only dog where she can be the center of attention, though she can coexist with other dogs with good management around food. She’ll be spayed next week and is ready to meet potential adopters soon! Three Must-Knows About Bella: She’s a people-loving cuddle queen who wants to be close to her humans. She’s potty trained and does great with free roam, but prefers home life over kennel life. She’d shine brightest as an only dog (or with structured feeding routines if sharing). Bella is a female Beagle who was was born approximately 7-4-24. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment, and will need to be kept on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
