Freddie, an approximately 1 year old, male beagle was surrendered to the rescue with another beagle ( Frankie ). These boys found themselves in our care after a gentleman realized after having them for three months that a bouncy, scent driven nature of the breed wasn't a great fit for his lifestyle. But don't let his brief stint in a mismatched home fool you- Freddie is a gem. True to the breed standard, Freddie is social, eager to please and view everyone the meets as his new best friend. At just a year old Freddie is energetic and quite playful and will need daily exercise with plenty of outdoor exploration. Ideally a fenced yard to run around safely ( and make sure his nose doesn't lead him on a grand adventure ). Freddie is house trained, current on vaccines and neutered. If you're ready to open your heart to a lovable, happy- go- lucky beagle he will reward you with endless loyalty and affection. This handsome, approximately 9 month old Beagle/Husky mix is the ultimate definition of friendly. Weighing in at a perfectly sized 23 pounds, Able is small in stature but huge in personality. Able came to our rescue after unfortunately being abandoned by his previous owner, but he hasn't let his rough past dull his sparkle. He is friendly with every person he meets and his absolute favorite thing? Fetch!! Able has classic puppy energy and could happily chase a ball all day long. Because he is a young teenager who didn't get the best start in life, Able is looking for an adopter to show him the ropes. Meet Claudette!she had another name previously, but she's leaving that life behind!! You may recognize her from a recent situation in Clymer where she was living in filth!! Now she is all sleek, shiny and clean! Honestly, she's so beautiful!! Now she has room to run and spend time with her sisters! As well as tell you about all of it! Claudette is good with other dogs from how she interacts with her sisters. We are told that she has been around children, and we do not know if she would do well with cats. Between she and Bernadette, Claudette is the super energetic one of the two girls. However, this girl is full of spunk and play, she can also be very vocal! (I mean...she is a Beagle). Claudette LOVES to run, that is her favorite form of play and exercise. You will also discover that this little lady is a model! She loves to pose for pictures, I mean what an icon, a girl who definitely knows her angles. After being spotted wandering around by himself, this handsome fella was brought to the rescue. Because his owners were never found, he is now available for adoption. Cinco is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and appears to be housebroken. He is believed to be a Husky/Beagle mix and is approximately 5 years old. Cinco enjoys walks, playing outside, and getting lots of love from volunteers. Cinco is a sweetheart, but he hates going back into his kennel and isn’t shy about letting us know. Cinco is looking for a home where he can be free to roam & not have to be crated when family is away and with no young children due to his strong-willed personality. Oftentimes, inappropriate behaviors, such as Cinco’s temper tantrums when returning to his kennel, diminish once a dog is settled in a home. Other than this quirk, he is a happy, loving pup that is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. Cinco is probably the most affectionate dog currently under our care. He absolutely loves giving kisses, getting attention, and making people smile.
