This handsome man is Bucky. Don`t let his grey face fool you. He is full of spunk. He loves to play and as Beagles do his nose is always to the ground. He came into the shelter as a stray so we`ve been taking some time to get to know him. He is a little wiggly for his baths, and walks well on the leash. He loves to soak up all the attention he can. He will need some help getting onto a potty routine in his new home, along with his other basic training skills. We think he would do well in a home with another doggie friend to play with and even some kiddos as well. Story
Meet Coop, a teenage beagle/dachshund mix with lots of personality and confidence in a little low-rider body.  Coop is playful, super friendly and totally unfazed by the fact all his friends are bigger than him. He loves to zoom around the yard and have all his doggy friends chase him.  Coop is likely full grown at 8-9 months old and approximately 30 lbs. He has a beagle body and demeanor, and a dachshund face, but he may also have other breeds in the mix.  Coop was a stray who spent almost two months at the shelter before his foster mom brought him home. While we don’t know his past, Coop acts as if nothing bad has ever happened to him. He’s a confident little fella who greets every dog and human he meets with lots of love, including kids. He’s super affectionate and loves to cuddle and give kisses.  Coop is a very well-adjusted boy and would be an easy addition to almost any home. He’s potty trained, crate trained and walks great on a leash. He would do well in an apartment with an active owner who wants to walk him and take him to run around at the dog park. Or he would do great paired with another playful dog at a home with a big fenced-in yard. Coop is energetic, but he is happy to chill after his morning walk or playtime. He’s a really good boy who could easily be taken along for all of life’s adventures! Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate.
