Story
Whitt is a cute little beagle mix (best guess) and we expect he will be medium sized when full grown. He is sweet, fun and active pup looking for a family to show him the ropes.  A physically fenced yard is preferred due to him being a puppy to keep him safe. He is still young and will need to work on potty and leash training and would do best with children over 8 years old. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, preventions and microchipped.  He is outgoing and fun and does well with other dogs.  Anyone who knows the breed knows the adventures you can expect with this sweet boy! If you think you are the right family or person for Whitt, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.safehaventn.com .  We are happy to set up a meet and greet for the approved application.  His adoption fee is $200 (if being picked up in TN)  and he is being fostered in middle TN.  Please contact us for out of state adoption information.

Story
Meet Frito Mae, a sweet and gentle 8-year-old Beagle mix who is the definition of a cuddly companion. Found as a stray, Frito Mae is now looking for a forever home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures of life—like curling up in a soft, fuzzy blanket or lounging on a cozy bed. Her love for comfort and relaxation makes her the perfect couch companion, and she’ll happily snuggle up with you for hours of peaceful cuddles. Frito Mae is incredibly sweet and affectionate, always ready for a cuddle or a gentle belly rub. She’s a quiet, easygoing dog who enjoys a calm, low-stress environment. Her gentle nature and laid-back personality make her an ideal pet for someone who wants a loving companion without a lot of extra fuss. At 8 years old, Frito Mae is well past the puppy energy stage and would thrive in a home that’s just as relaxed and cozy as she is. She would make an excellent pet for a senior citizen or anyone looking for a calm, loving dog who’s happy to spend her days relaxing and enjoying quality time with her favorite person. If you’re looking for a loyal, quiet, and affectionate companion to share your days with, Frito Mae is ready to bring all her love and cuddles into your life.

Story
This sweet girl will melt your heart with her adorable happy dance. When she gets excited, Peggy bobbles her head back and forth and prances in place with pure joy. Peggy Sue is a 1-year-old, 55-pound bundle of love who adores attention and affection. She enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a gentle nature with children. She’s curious about cats and loves splashing in the creek, chasing bees, and simply enjoying life. Peggy is fully grown but still filling out a bit. She is housebroken and has great leash manners even around other animals. Peggy Sue can be selective about her dog friends, so if there are other dogs in the home, a meet-and-greet will be required to ensure everyone is a good match. Before adoption, Peggy Sue will be spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Could Peggy Sue be the perfect new addition to your family?
