Pepper is a 2-year-old, 25-lb mixed breed sweetheart with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, her happy, outgoing personality shines through. Pepper's favorite place to be is right by her people’s side—whether that’s hanging out at home or playing with her toys.She is house trained and crate trained, and can comfortably be crated during a typical workday. Pepper has a medium energy level—she will happily join you for activity, then settle in for cuddle time. Her leash manners are still a work in progress but she’s eager to learn with a little patience and consistency.Pepper does well with other dogs and kids, while her experience with cats is still unknown. She’s adaptable and could thrive in an apartment or a home with a yard. Grooming is simple, just regular brushing and the occasional bath.What makes Pepper extra special is her silly side—she gets adorable, random bursts of energy that are sure to make you smile—but at the end of the day, all she really wants is love and companionship. Pepper would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
