Story
Meet Junior! Junior is an elegant 18-pound Beagle mix who is estimated to be 8–9 years old—and he is quite possibly one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Mostly tan and absolutely charming, Junior is a true gentleman who seems to have nothing but love in his heart. He genuinely doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.Junior isn’t skittish or fearful, and he is about as quiet as they come. He is not a barker and is perfectly content to spend his days curled up beside his two-legged people or his four-legged foster siblings. He loves cuddling, snoozing next to his people, and sleeping with them at night. ❤️He recently had a dental with numerous extractions and came through it like the shining star he is. He also has a grade 2/6 heart murmur, but thankfully it does not require medication at this time.Junior is completely house trained and crate trained. He does well in his crate when needed, but we are looking for a home where he won't spend long periods of time crated. His ideal family would have someone who can spend a lot of time with him at home. He also needs a home with a securely fenced yard because he absolutely loves lingering outside in the sunshine and enjoying the day.Junior gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home—male and female, big and small. Because of his age, we are looking for an adult only home or one with older, respectful children who will understand that this sweet senior gentleman deserves a little extra consideration. There is just something incredibly special about Junior. He is gentle, loving, quiet, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. He is the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart until you can't imagine your life without him. If you can give this fabulous little man a safe, secure home filled with unconditional love, please fill out an adoption application for a meet and greet.Fair warning: Junior has a way of stealing your heart—and he may just take your breath away. ❤️All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Junior's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Junior, or another CAWS animal, please fill out an application here: http://caws.org/adoption-application. Nova is a sweet and gentle little beagle mix who is a wonderful balance of playful and gentle. She would love to join her new family for an outdoor adventure and she gets the cutest wiggles and zoomies when she’s excited. She is also happy to curl up for some quiet cuddle time at home if that is what her people want to do. With her sweet, old-soul personality, Nova knows how to settle in and enjoy the moment. 💕 At about 2 years old, Nova is patiently waiting at Nuzzles & Co. for her forever family to take her home and give her the spoiled life she deserves!

Meet Jaime Tiny, Friendly, and Ready to Grow Up With His Forever Family Breed: Jack Russell Beagal Mix Gender: Male | Age: 06/11/2026 | Weight/Size: 10 lbs currently (small) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: ❤️ Friendly | Social | Playful | Puppy Personality Medical: ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date | Neuter: Age-Appropriate/Pending Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Jaime is an adorable Terrier mix currently weighing approximately 10 pounds. He's a friendly little puppy at the very beginning of his life, ready to find a family who will love him, teach him, and help him grow into a wonderful adult companion. Jaime is good with other dogs and children. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. As a Terrier mix, Jaime may grow into a bright, curious, playful, affectionate, and energetic companion. Terriers often have fun personalities and enjoy exploring, playing, learning, and spending time with their people. Because Jaime is only two months old, his exact adult size, appearance, energy level, and temperament cannot yet be guaranteed. Jaime will need a family prepared for everything that comes with raising a puppy—not just the adorable parts! He will benefit from consistent training, socialization, playtime, mental enrichment, appropriate exercise, and lots of patience and affection. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At only two months old, Jaime is truly a baby. His adopter should expect normal puppy behaviors such as potty accidents, chewing, puppy nipping, bursts of energy, curiosity, and plenty of learning. Rescue puppies generally arrive with basic training at best. His family should be prepared to work on: House training Crate training as appropriate Basic commands Leash skills when age appropriate Recall Appropriate chewing Bite inhibition Household boundaries Positive socialization Training should always be patient, consistent, and based on positive reinforcement. The habits Jaime develops during puppyhood can help shape the adult dog he becomes. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand his new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home Every puppy adjusts at a different pace, so Jaime should be allowed to settle in without being overwhelmed. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Jaime's vaccinations are currently up to date, and his neuter will be completed when age appropriate. Because he is only two months old, his adopter will need to continue his puppy veterinary care as he grows, including any remaining vaccines and boosters recommended by his veterinarian. His future family should provide routine veterinary care, parasite prevention, quality puppy nutrition, dental care, healthy weight management, age-appropriate exercise, continued training and socialization, and veterinary treatment whenever needed. Until his veterinarian confirms that his puppy vaccination series provides appropriate protection, his family should also be careful about exposing him to high-risk public areas where unknown or unvaccinated dogs may have been. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Jaime, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Adopting a puppy is a lifelong commitment. Jaime will need continued training, veterinary care, exercise, patience, companionship, and love throughout every stage of his life. Jaime is only two months old, which means his whole life is still ahead of him. He's looking for the family who will be there for the puppy kisses and mischief, the teenage phase, the adult adventures, and eventually the gray hairs. Give Jaime the chance to grow up knowing exactly what it means to be loved.September 30, 2026, 4:44 pm

Story
Shadow is a loyal, loving 3-year-old boy looking for the right forever home. He forms strong bonds with his people and is very devoted to the humans he trusts. He can be cautious when meeting new people and will need a little time and patience to adjust, but once he gets to know you, he's incredibly affectionate and protective of his family. He **does not get along well with other dogs**, so he needs to be the only dog in the home. He would do best in a **quiet home with no children and few people**, where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace. Because of his protective nature, an experienced owner who understands dogs that need slower introductions and a calm, structured environment would be the best fit. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and we're committed to finding him a home where he'll be safe, understood, and loved. He has so much love and loyalty to give the right person.
