Princess is sweet and smart! This medium sized girl is a great size at 40 lbs. She's around 6 years old and has that great energy of being up for a snuggle on the couch or a walk through the fields. She does well with cats and dogs. She does best with older kids as younger ones moving and yelling are a bit much for her. She is a Beagle/Border Collie mix. She has been introduced to different livestock animals and seems to be indifferent to them.

I adopted my pet when my neighbor was fostering him & they asked me to watch him for the night. I adopted him in my early 20s & didn't understand the responsibilities of owning a dog. I was sick at the time & spent everyday at home with him up until this year. I did little to no training & let the dog rule the house. I haven't trained him much other than the basics, & he chooses when to listen. He's more responsive to positive reinforcement than negative. A gentle owner with a farm is an ideal home. His separation anxiety is bad, & has been made worse by my returning to work for the first time since adopting him. I do not give him as much exercise as he needs & my small condo is not a suitable environment for him. The times he has been most calm is when he is on farms, I believe he is meant to be a farm dog. He barks a lot is sweet, protective & loving. If I could give him the life he deserves, I would keep him but I cannot meet his needs so I'm rehoming him with a heavy heart.

Nico and his siblings were dumped at a beach in Puerto Rico, left to fend for themselves when they were far too young and helpless. Thankfully, they were rescued—and now this sweet little boy is safe, loved, and dreaming of something every puppy deserves: a family of his very own. Nico is the most precious pup you could imagine! He is sweet, snuggly, silly, and absolutely loves all the attention he can get. He is great with kids, cats and other dogs. Let’s face it – Nico absolutely loves everyone he meets. He has a goofy, fun, puppy personality that will keep you laughing, and a gentle little heart that just wants to be loved. He has his vaccines and is not yet neutered. He is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico, but he can travel anywhere along the mainland US east coast to meet his forever family. Nico’s transportation is included in his adoption fee. Nico’s beginning was a very scary, dangerous one — but you can choose to be the person who changes his future. Nico now needs a safe place to sleep, someone to watch over and nurture him and most importantly... someone to love him forever. We can promise – he will give that love right back.
