I adopted my pet when my neighbor was fostering him & they asked me to watch him for the night. I adopted him in my early 20s & didn't understand the responsibilities of owning a dog. I was sick at the time & spent everyday at home with him up until this year. I did little to no training & let the dog rule the house. I haven't trained him much other than the basics, & he chooses when to listen. He's more responsive to positive reinforcement than negative. A gentle owner with a farm is an ideal home. His separation anxiety is bad, & has been made worse by my returning to work for the first time since adopting him. I do not give him as much exercise as he needs & my small condo is not a suitable environment for him. The times he has been most calm is when he is on farms, I believe he is meant to be a farm dog. He barks a lot is sweet, protective & loving. If I could give him the life he deserves, I would keep him but I cannot meet his needs so I'm rehoming him with a heavy heart.

Tania was rescued from a hoarding house, and while we don’t know everything she’s been through, it’s clear that life hasn’t always shown her the kindness she deserves. She is INCREDIBLY sweet, gentle, and docile, but also very timid. There’s not an aggressive bone in this little girl’s body. She’s simply learning that people can be kind and that love is something she deserves, too. And oh, the way she reacts to affection will absolutely melt your heart. When you give her love, she looks up at you with the sweetest expression of genuine surprise, almost as if she’s asking, “Really? You like me?” It’s heartbreaking and beautiful all at once. But once you earn Tania’s trust, something magical happens. She becomes your sweet, calm little shadow, quietly following you around, soaking up your affection, and just wanting to be near her person. Tania absolutely LOVES other dogs! They give her confidence and help her feel safe in the world, so we would especially love to see her in a home with another friendly, confident pup who can show her the ropes.
