Story
Because of their start in life, these dogs aren’t for everyone. They are currently quite skittish and find the big wide world a bit overwhelming. They desperately need a patient, predictable home environment and a person/family dedicated to helping them build confidence at their own pace. They are also not house-trained, so teaching them the ropes will take time, consistency, and a lot of positive reinforcement. It will be a commitment and a challenge, but watching a cautious young dog learn the `language of safety` and bloom into a confident companion is the most rewarding journey you can take. These resilient pups are ready to trade their cautious beginnings for a lifetime of trust and love with the right patient guide!

Story
Hey everyone, my name is Reggie. Yep, I’m one of the beagles rescued from a medical testing facility, but I don’t want you to adopt me because you feel sorry for me. I want you to adopt me because you understand that I’m not looking backward anymore—I’m starting over. Will I come with some obstacles to overcome? Absolutely. But honestly, who doesn’t? I’m a very smart, inquisitive guy who loves learning new things. I’m also pretty food motivated, which makes training fun for both of us.   I’m a sensitive soul who needs time, love and patience.  I need someone who won’t give up on me during the hard days, the hard weeks, or even the hard months. All I want is a family that will love me forever.   Now about those obstacles.  Because I grew up in kennel in that place, and so did my mom, I never learned how to be a dog in a world I didn't know existed.  While my foster mom says I’m making great progress I will still need some help with stuff like potty training, (Although my foster mom says I’m doing very good so far) some separation anxiety and wanting to keep all my bones and toys to myself.   Oh, and because growing up in a Kennel wasn't any fun, I really have no desire to ever hang out in one again and I will be sure let you know if you try.   My foster mom lets me hang out in her office with a gate in the door and while I’m still not a huge fan, its better than a kennel.   My foster mom said it took me about a week to get over a lot of the stress of moving in with her family. After a while I started to relax understand the routine,  I stopped getting so upset every time she would leave the room (which she tells me is a good thing), I started understanding and playing with a foster sibling and I was a little more chill about the other dogs coming around my dog bones.   All of that progress in one week, just imagine what I can do in a lifetime.  Some things I will need in a forever family are  a fenced yard to keep me safe and allow me a place to run around and play.   Another dog to play with would be great (or at least play dates with other dogs if im your one and only) as long as they are pretty cool about me needing to learn from them and take it slow with me.  A solid routine would be great as the structure helps me understand life a bit better.   But most of all, my favorite thing in the whole world and what I need the most is people who love me. Anyone willing to sit with me, love on me, and give me scratches will have my whole heart. If your my forever family,  I can't wait to meet you.   Love, Reggie You can apply for this pup at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Reggie D.O.B: 05/04/2025 Breed: Beagle Sex: Male Weight: 27.8 lbs Altered: Yes  Adoption Fee: 400 Good with kids: I'm not sure. Story
Meet Scooter! This handsome 1-year-old Beagle is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, once he trusts you, his sweet personality shines through. He'll happily follow you around the house, snuggle up for cuddles, and become your loyal best friend. Scooter loves being outdoors and enjoys walks, though his Beagle nose occasionally leads him on little sniffing adventures. He rides great in the car, is doing wonderfully with pottying outside, and gets along well with his two foster Beagle sisters. Once he's comfortable in his surroundings, he loves to play and have fun. Because he can be nervous around unfamiliar people, particularly men, he'll need a patient family that understands trust takes time. He may initially growl when a man enters the room, but with gentle, calm interactions and patience, he continues to make progress and will even accept pets when he's feeling comfortable. If you're willing to let this sweet boy move at his own pace, you'll be rewarded with a devoted companion who just wants a person to call his own.  can apply for this pup at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Scooter D.O.B: 05/04/2025 Breed: Beagle Sex: Male Weight: 24.8 lbs Altered: Yes  Adoption Fee: 400 Good with kids: I'm not sure.
