9/24/25 - Found in Apple Valley in the vicinity of Dale Evans Pkwy and Outer Hwy 18. No microchip scanned in lobby. LM ***** AVAILABLE FOR RESCUE OR APPROVED FOSTER/ADOPTER NOW-NEEDS MEDICAL CARE***** Intact male 13 weeks old ~30 pounds Vaccines given 09-24-25, 10-24-25, 11-12-25 Microchiped ALT ID# 09-24-25 10 Playful sweet puppy currently with medical foster. Broken Femoral head needing surgical repair. Dog is healthy otherwise and thriving. Crate trained, potty trained, gets along with dogs, cats and small children, playful, working on tricks and leash training. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Animal is also legally available for euthanasia NOW. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW ***** Intact male ~5 yrs old 81 pounds Vaccines given 11-5-25 No microchip ALT ID# 11-5-25 11 Intake notes - Nervous, go slow, arthritic, walks on leash, does not like feet touched or much handling/restraint at all Behavior Notes - Initially tense/nervous, warms up quickly, can be pet head to tail and once comfortable with staff all he wanted to do was cuddle. He did chase a ball for a second but lost interest quickly. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull NOW; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date.
