AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. Cielita is a 4 year old rottweiler, 71 lbs. Sweet, friendly girl. Leash trained. Good with big dogs- she came with a male German shepherd (Angelito) and is great friends with him. She does best with submissive male dogs, and not female dogs, since she's a dominant female...yet gentle. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. Very sweet girl. Had been dumped. Found by a guy who didn't have the time for her. I brought her in to balance out the pack. She loves playing with the big dog but didn't behave well around my senior little dogs (6 and 10lbs). I would keep her if not for that. She fit in well in every other way. Despite being less than 2 years old, she understood the need to not jump around by my elderly mother who is a fall risk. She loves toys and snuggling. Feet are her favorite pillows when napping. Rarely barks but will rumble talk when happy.

Came to B&B from Good Samaritans who found them as wee pups abandoned near highway 18 These two brothers have grown into very handsome soft, shiny coat sweethearts. They have been adopted together - and are excellent with all other pooches. So wished all the street strays can attain the same dream come true as these dear ones. We'll get their photos and a video up for you to enjoy. Probably will be able to post them in their new home soon. Their personalities are all Bernese Mountain dog - easy going, gentle, peaceful. Google the Bernese to learn more about these terrific boys. We're thinking they have a bit of Aussie and perhaps Border Collie as well. Just about the absolute nicest personalities and handsome dogs we have ever seen!
